Chapter 61: You’ve Got Something Seriously Wrong With Your Head!

During military training, the cafeteria was so crowded that people didn’t even want to go inside.

Before, he still had Long Xing with him as a “backup,” but now An Han had to come to the cafeteria alone to buy lunch for Su Peng.

In front of the cafeteria window, the crowd was moving like waves. He looked at the students wearing military training uniforms and quietly muttered, “Why are kids nowadays all so tall…”

Looking at the students in front of him, most of them half a head taller than him, pushing to get food, he felt a bit scared.

How was he supposed to squeeze past these people?

He could only brace himself, walk forward, and try to push through the crowd: “Excuse me, excuse me~”

But everyone was starving, so none of them wanted to move. He pushed for a long time but almost couldn’t move an inch. There were still at least three layers of students in front of him, not getting any fewer at all.

An Han had no choice but to line up properly. But the scene was a giant mess. He waited there for a long time, the students in front left and new ones came, but he stayed stuck on the outside, staring helplessly.

This is why! Being strong is a must!

If it were the tall and huge Long Xing, he could have squeezed in easily!

At the cafeteria windows, boys and girls almost naturally separated. Each window had half boys and half girls, but An Han didn’t have the face to squeeze into the girls’ area.

“Excuse me~”

Finally, a student in front turned to look at him, moved a little to the side, and made a small gap.

With sharp eyes, An Han immediately squeezed into that gap.

Once he got inside the crowd, he noticed something strange. Every boy near him moved aside like they had seen a ghost. He was surprised to find the path in front of him suddenly wide open, and he easily reached the window without any obstacles.

While ordering food, he heard the whispers beside him.

“Why is this girl squeezing into our side?”

Girl?!

He froze for a moment, then looked around and realized he was surrounded by boys. His face stiffened, and he angrily glared at the one who spoke.

Your whole family is a girl!

If he didn’t know that he currently looked almost the same as a girl, he would have argued back already.

“Takeout.”

He shouted to the cafeteria lady inside the window, paid with a dark face, waited a moment, then took the food box and left.

If he really went to the girls’ side, with his current size he could easily squeeze all the way to the deepest spot. After all, he was small among boys, but among girls he would definitely be considered “huge.”

Girls from the south were all very petite. A girl with his height, each class probably had only two or three like that.

But he couldn’t lose face like that! What if classmates saw him?!

What if a girl who knew him saw, she might even think he was a shameless jerk trying to take advantage of girls.

On the way back, he stopped by a small shop next to the cafeteria and bought a drink. Then An Han ran back to Su Peng’s dorm room.

“Here’s your food. With the cola, it’s twenty-five in total!”

He tossed the food box onto Su Peng’s desk and held out his hand for money.

“The cafeteria is this expensive now? How much meat did you buy for me?” Su Peng looked up in shock.

“The delivery guy’s running fee is ten.”

“Without the cola, you only bought me twelve yuan of food?”

Su Peng complained as he opened the lunch box, and then his eyes widened. “You only bought vegetables for me?”

“Eating more vegetables is good for your body,” An Han said seriously. “I even bought you sugar-free cola. It’s still a drink, but it’s healthier.”

In truth, he only noticed that Su Peng didn’t like vegetables, so he did it on purpose to tease him and hopefully lower Su Peng’s good impression of him.

He held back his laughter and patted Su Peng’s shoulder with a “I’m doing this for your own good” expression.

“Look at you, you eat meat every day. Your body will have problems sooner or later.”

Su Peng picked at the dishes in the box with his chopsticks, and his face turned green.

Not only was it all vegetables, but they were also things like stir-fried corn kernels and cold water spinach… basically dishes with almost no oil at all.

“An Han, why are you being so nice to Su Peng now? Something going on between you two?” Wu Dongming dragged his chair over and peeked at Su Peng’s food. “Wow~ how is this different from eating grass?”

“Then… what about that box?” Su Peng looked at the other container, hoping there was at least a fried chicken leg inside.

“This one has bitter melon.”

An Han opened the second lunch box, crushing all of Su Peng’s hope. He smiled and said, “Bitter melon is good for your body~ high nutrition~”

Su Peng let out a hopeless sigh, leaned back in his chair, and looked up at An Han’s evil smile.

“Fine, it’s all vegetables… but at least buy me normal cola, okay? Who drinks sugar-free cola?”

“I like sugar-free. The normal one is too sweet for me.”

“Okay, fine, whatever you say. It’s already bought anyway.”

With a suffering face, he picked up a piece of bitter melon and took a bite. His eyebrows tightened immediately.

It was way too bitter!

“The more bitter, the healthier~” An Han used a bunch of nonsense to trick him.

“Yes yes yes…”

An Han pulled a chair over and sat next to Su Peng, staring right at him. “I’m watching you finish it. Eat everything. Don’t waste food.”

“Please spare me!”

Watching Su Peng eat vegetables with such a pained expression, An Han felt both the joy of teasing him and the anticipation of the system reward.

[Task completed. Reward: +1 Charm]

That’s not the message I wanted!

An Han glanced at the new stat and secretly sighed in relief.

At least it didn’t make him more feminine again. The charm stat didn’t mean much to him anyway, he still hadn’t really felt any benefit from it.

Besides, one point of charm was nothing compared to the power of the “good impression” trait.

Su Peng was already gagging from eating so many vegetables. He quickly shoveled a few bites of rice into his mouth and sighed. “I should’ve just ordered takeout myself.”

“Tsk~ serves you right.”

He glanced at An Han and, seeing that harmless and gentle face, froze for a moment.

Maybe… maybe An Han is really doing this for my health?

Without meaning to, that thought appeared in his mind.

Even if it’s a prank, maybe deep down he really thinks he’s helping me, and just uses pranks to hide it?

Even though he felt it was unlikely for someone like An Han to do that, his anger and helplessness slowly faded.

[Su Peng’s favorability +3]

“……”

What the hell is wrong with your brain?!

An Han’s expression changed instantly. He stood up and walked out.

What kind of crazy people are around me?!

He literally pranked him right in his face, and now he forced him to eat a whole meal of plain vegetables with no oil, and the guy’s good impression still went up? Ridiculous!

“You haven’t boiled water for me yet.”

“Boil it yourself! It’s just a cold, not a disability!” An Han snapped back.

His sudden mood swing left Su Peng completely confused, but he didn’t dare ask. He could only watch An Han storm out and slam the door.

Su Peng turned to Wu Dongming. “You’re close to An Han. Help me figure out why he suddenly got angry?”

“How would I know? He’s been acting like a totally different person recently.” Wu Dongming crossed his legs, looking like he didn’t care at all.

“True… he’s changed, becoming more like a gir—”

The door suddenly opened again, so Su Peng quickly changed his words, “becoming more and more handsome, right?”

A small head poked through the door gap, reminding him.

“Remember to transfer the money! Twenty-five!”
