If they chose this alley to do something shady, it meant they had picked this spot exactly because it was hidden and quiet. Even at night, very few people would walk down such a dark and creepy alley.
Even if Lin Yibai turned back into his male body, with just him and Xia Changyu, the two of them might not be able to handle a planned ambush. So, this wasn’t something that could be solved just by changing back.
After sunset, Lin Yibai had already come up with some ideas. She followed the updates that Gu Xiaoxue and her friends posted online.
Soon, she found them again outside a seafood restaurant.
Lin Yibai took a bite of her multigrain pancake, which she bought for eight yuan. Jealously, she muttered, “Fresh fish slices in a mini hotpot. Wow, they really know how to live it up!”
The fish? Freshly killed sea fish.
Then the chef would skillfully slice it into thin pieces and keep them chilled on ice.

Inside the alley, three or four guys blocked the path. They had a sleazy look and spoke in a mocking tone.
"Wow, what a pretty girl. Want to come to the bar with us? We’ll pay, hehe!"
Gu Xiaoxue acted scared. "What... what do you want... Nooo!!"
Xia Changyu frowned, showing he was unhappy.
As a man, he wasn’t going to back down. Especially with his girlfriend standing behind him.
