[Vol. 7] Chapter 119: We Know You Like This Kind of Thing, Right?

Sainz was essentially a massive academy that had grown to the size of a city. Because of this, its management structure and district divisions were quite different from those of a typical city.

There was no separation between an inner city and an outer city. Instead, the entire place was divided into seven academic districts, each centered around one of the seven towering magic towers in the city. These districts corresponded to the seven major branches of study.

Of course, these districts were more of a symbolic division rather than a strict boundary. It wasn’t as if students and researchers were confined to only one district. The main difference was simply where the top researchers in a given field were most concentrated.

For example, the Seventh School District, located beneath the [Tower of Mystery], was where Violet and the others were currently headed. This district was primarily home to Celestial Mages like Priscilla, as well as researchers and students specializing in rare talents of various [God-Chosen] magic. However, it also housed a large number of students and instructors who specialized in common elemental magic. The philosophy of inclusive education applied to all districts in much the same way.

On a side note, even though Holy Magic was extremely common in the Holy Empire and the Church, it had long been a monopolized ability exclusive to the Holy Empire. However, in Sainz, it was also classified as one of the rare disciplines within the Seventh District. So, as expected, this was likely going to be where they lived and studied for the foreseeable future.

The carriage moved smoothly along the wide, paved roads, eventually slowing to a stop in front of a large entrance leading into a complex of buildings.

Beyond the tall enclosing walls, the interior stretched far into the distance, making it impossible to see the full extent of the area. Near the entrance, a large stone monument stood, with the words "Sainz Seventh School District" elegantly carved into its surface in graceful, flowing script, clearly the handwriting of a woman.

In front of the stone monument, a striking figure stood waiting, flanked by a few guards, likely her subordinates.

“We’ve arrived, Miss Violet. Please step out of the carriage,” Priscilla said.

“Alright.”

Violet had already seen the person waiting through the carriage window. And with Priscilla voluntarily stopping and calling out, it was obvious who this person was.

The leader of the group was a young, capable-looking woman, appearing to be in her early twenties. Despite her strikingly beautiful features, she wore a butler-style, masculine uniform, giving off a sharp and professional air. Her short, dark red hair and lack of any distinctive racial traits made her look like an ordinary human at first glance.

As soon as Violet and the others stepped out of the carriage, the woman immediately led her group forward, giving a polite bow in a formal gentleman’s greeting.

"Pleasure to meet you, Lady Violet. I am Yulia, the personal secretary to the Headmaster. On behalf of the faculty, students, and residents of Sainz, I extend our warmest welcome to you and your companions. You must be tired from your journey. The academy has already prepared accommodations for your stay. May I guide you there?"

The young woman carried herself with flawless elegance, leaving a favorable first impression. Violet gave her a slight nod, then instinctively glanced up at the bright daylight around them.

"Of course. But you…"

"Is there something wrong, Miss Violet?"

Making eye contact with Yulia's beautiful black eyes, which were no different from a human's, Violet, also bathed in sunlight, hesitated for a moment and shook her head.

"No, it's nothing. Please, lead the way."

"Of course~ It is our honor. This way, please."

Yulia lifted her hand slightly, and the several large men behind her, dressed in similar formal uniforms but built more like underground enforcers, stepped forward. They respectfully took charge of the group’s luggage, mainly the belongings of Lenka and Qionghua, since both Violet and Priscilla had their own storage spaces.

Taking advantage of the moment, Violet casually glanced at the weapons strapped to the men's waists.

No mistake. Guns. The kind that go “biu biu biu” and spit fire.

But they weren’t like the firearms from Earth, nor the mass-produced muskets she had seen used by some Austre soldiers. These guns were sleeker, more refined, almost like elongated pistols. In fact, they looked eerily similar to the weapons she had seen in the underground base of "Vast Dream" beneath the Angel City, which were wielded by puppets.

She wasn’t sure if there was any connection between these things…

Soon, the butler-like girl, who introduced herself as Yulia, led the group into the Seventh District. However, along the way, Priscilla and Qionghua parted ways with them, heading in a different direction.

As official faculty and students of Sainz, they had their own dormitories in the Seventh District. Their role as guides ended once they brought Violet and the others here. Having been away from campus for a while, they had their own matters to handle and weren’t about to waste time lingering unnecessarily.

As they walked, Violet observed the surroundings, forming her first impression of the place.

It’s huge.

She was talking about the sheer size of the campus.

While the Holy Academy of the Holy Empire had a prestigious reputation that wasn’t far behind Sainz, in terms of actual land area, it wasn’t even close. Just the main campus of the Seventh School District alone felt as large as the entire Holy Academy that Violet had previously visited.

And Sainz had six more districts just like this one.

Now this is what you call heritage.

After a long walk, Yulia finally led them to a villa by the lake, nestled deep within the school district.

The villa wasn’t particularly large, but it was spacious enough to accommodate a dozen or so people. The elegant architecture and intricate decorative carvings subtly reflected the refined taste of its owner.

Waiting outside the entrance were two young women dressed as maids, both stunningly beautiful. As soon as they saw Yulia and the group approach, they immediately crossed their hands in front of them and bowed respectfully.

"This is the place," Yulia explained with a smile.

"The Headmaster heard that Lady Violet prefers a quiet environment, so instead of assigning you to the busy dormitory area, she had one of her private residences renovated and prepared for you. What do you think?"

"......"

Violet casually glanced at the three-story villa in front of her. Since she wasn’t too particular about housing, her gaze quickly shifted downward to the two maids standing at the entrance.

Both had well-proportioned figures, dressed in matching western-style maid uniforms with black leather ankle boots. The semi-transparent white stockings accentuated the graceful curves of their legs. They stood straight, exuding both discipline and respect, clearly well-trained.

Their facial features and demeanor were quite different, yet their eye color and hair color were strikingly similar to Yulia’s. It was hard to believe that was just a coincidence.

"You really put a lot of thought into this. But… what’s this about?"

As if expecting this very question, Yulia nodded with a smile, stepping forward slightly and gesturing towards the two maids.

"As you can see, they are highly trained, professional maids, capable of meeting their master’s needs in every possible way. The Headmaster personally selected them to take care of you and the two young ladies during your time at the academy. Oh, and of course, if you wish to take them with you after graduation, that’s perfectly fine as well. Ahem. Now then, ladies, introduce yourselves."

"Yes, Head Maid," the two girls responded in unison, using a rather intriguing title for Yulia before gracefully bowing.

The first to speak was the long-haired girl with twin ponytails. She had a sweet smile and gave off a pure, adorable vibe.

"Hello, Lady Violet, and esteemed young ladies. My name is Mia. I just graduated from the Maid Program at Sainz Academy and am currently looking for a suitable master. This is my first official job after graduation, so I hope to learn and serve well."

Following that, a slightly taller, short-haired girl with a somewhat aloof and indifferent demeanor, also spoke in a calm tone.

"I am Selna, also a recent graduate of the Maid Program at Sainz Academy. I am looking for suitable employment."

"?"

A huge question mark appeared above Violet’s head.
