Around 9 p.m., the group left the dorm.
This was right after the first wave of customers at the hot pot place had finished eating. The next busy period would probably be around 11 p.m.
Standing in front of the brightly lit Haidilao restaurant, Yang Chenjun asked, “Is there anything we should know about eating hot pot at a place like this?”
Lin Yibai: “No idea.”
Second Brother: “First time here.”
Third Brother: “Same.”
Honestly, it wasn’t that funny. They had simply never been to a place like this before.

But Lin Yibai waved her hand and firmly said, “No need. I already said we’d eat Haidilao, so we’re eating Haidilao.”

To understand friends, treat them like friends, and not force them to do things they find hard...

Just after he finished ordering, the table next to them started whispering.
“Hey hey, did you hear that? Those three guys over there are letting a girl pay for their meal. Isn’t that embarrassing?”
