Chapter 57: Don’t Leave Me
It was already late in the afternoon on the weekend when Lin Muxi finally woke up, just like a lazy little cat. She rubbed her sleepy eyes while still lying in her good bro’s arms.
Of course, the movement woke up Mo Ziyang too, who had fallen asleep together with her. Looking at the silly girl leaning against his chest, he smiled and stretched out his hand to gently pinch Lin Muxi’s cheek.

The silly girl just stared blankly at him with red eyes after hearing his promise. Then Mo Ziyang suddenly pressed her head and kissed her.
Lin Muxi’s eyes immediately went wide. Her pale face turned red all the way to her ears as she stared in shock at what was happening.

After the playful moment ended, Mo Ziyang crossed his arms and sat on Lin Muxi’s bed, looking at her as she lowered her head in silence.
From her reactions today, he was more and more curious about what had happened to her last night.

“Tell me the truth. Don’t make me ask twice.”
“I… I had a nightmare last night…” Lin Muxi twisted her fingers together, her voice growing softer and softer. Clearly, she felt embarrassed to admit this to Mo Ziyang.
“Go ahead, tell me. I want to know what scared you so much.”
Mo Ziyang’s gentle tone finally broke through her walls. She slowly walked to his side and told him everything about the nightmare, without leaving anything out.
After listening, Mo Ziyang was speechless and amused at the same time. But seeing how frightened and helpless Lin Muxi still looked, he held back his laughter and simply patted her head.

Seeing him holding back a laugh instead of showing sympathy made Lin Muxi feel even more wronged.
“Alright, alright. Then can I give you a hug instead?”

Before Mo Ziyang could even move, Lin Muxi had already rushed into his arms herself, pressing her cheek against his chest and holding him tightly.
