Chapter 129: A Little Accident...
That evening, besides chatting and playing games with Lin Muqing, Ye Ziming also took care of something else. The demolition project in the neighborhood next door.
The project had been in the works for a while, but it was only recently that things were finalized and they started preparing for the actual demolition. The notice had already been posted, then came negotiations, and after that would be the real teardown.
Judging by the timing, Ye Ziming figured it was about time to tell Lin Muqing about it.
Since she would have to move out sooner or later, he thought it might be better if she just moved in with him. The living environment on his side was definitely better. After deciding this in his heart, he began thinking about how to bring it up.
Based on what he knew about her, she probably wouldn’t agree so easily. Soon the weekend passed, and Monday arrived. Time for school again.
Early in the morning, Lin Muqing turned off her alarm and got out of bed, only to discover something very embarrassing, she had leaked during the night.
Sigh... being a girl is so troublesome.
She sighed helplessly while taking off her underwear and heading to the bathroom to wash it with sulfur soap. But that wasn’t all, she also had to strip the bedsheets and throw them into the washing machine.
The only good news? The quilt wasn’t stained, so she could still use it.
Then came the next problem. She only had two pairs of panties left, one was washed last night and still wet, and the other one she had just washed. So basically, her options were to go to school commando, or wear one of those super cute panties that her "boss" bought her yesterday.
Coincidentally, after drying all afternoon and evening, those panties were now perfectly dry.
She didn’t have time to overthink it, so she just grabbed a random pair, the blue and white striped one, put on her uniform, and headed to school.
On the way to school, like usual, she ran into her good buddy near the breakfast stall by the school gate.

Seeing his signature smile, she couldn’t help but remember everything that happened yesterday. Thankfully, only he knew. It wasn’t total social death.
“Morning.”
He returned the greeting and waited for her to finish her breakfast.
With a playful smirk, Ye Ziming looked at the little cutie beside him, remembering what happened yesterday. The more he thought about it, the cuter she seemed.
Too bad she was wearing the jade pendant again today. On the outside, she looked like a little kid, nowhere near as cute as when she took it off.
Honestly, he didn’t really like it when she wore the pendant. He thought it’d be better if she just didn’t wear it at all.
After finishing her breakfast, Lin Muqing casually threw away the trash and walked toward the school gate with her good buddy.
“Boss…”
“Hmm?”
“You’ve been looking at me this whole time... Is there something you want to say?”
On the way to their classroom, Lin Muqing noticed his gaze had been on her the entire time. So once they sat down, she turned to him with a confused look.
“Well, yeah, there is something,” Ye Ziming said, raising his brow just slightly and smiling faintly. “But this isn’t really the right place. After morning reading ends, let’s find somewhere else to talk.”
As he spoke, he pointed to the clock in the classroom, reminding her that the morning reading session was about to begin.
Regarding yesterday’s health check, the report has come out. The hospital sent it to his phone, and he happened to see it when he woke up this morning.
The report showed that everything about Lin Muqing is normal, and the last pair of chromosomes are both X.
That means she’s biologically a girl, and DNA doesn’t lie, right?
The only thing to watch out for was something the doctor had already mentioned yesterday. Lin Muqing is slightly malnourished and underweight.
“But… something that can’t be talked about here?”
Hearing her good buddy’s words, Lin Muqing didn’t immediately think about the health check. Instead, what popped into her mind was how she had been forced this morning to wear the panties her “good buddy” had bought for her.
And he did say yesterday that he didn’t want to see her wear that old kind of underwear anymore…

But what surprised him was that after he said that, a faint blush appeared on Lin Muqing’s face. Looking more closely, he even noticed that her cheeks puffed out a bit, like she was reacting out of embarrassment.

He looked away, and as he packed his bag, he also took out the textbook for the morning reading session.

Morning reading passed quickly. Just like last week, Lin Wenbin still didn’t show up today.
Lin Muqing didn’t have much to say about that. She actually felt that things were more peaceful when Lin Wenbin wasn’t around.
“Put your homework on the desk and come with me.”
Just as Lin Muqing was still thinking about Lin Wenbin, Ye Ziming lightly tapped her shoulder. Then he picked up his water bottle and stood up, walking straight out of the classroom.
Feeling a little embarrassed, Lin Muqing glanced at her good buddy. Her small hands clasped together without her realizing.
After pursing her lips and thinking for two seconds, she stood up too, grabbed her water bottle, and followed him out of the classroom.
