Chapter 145: Ye Mengze Is Very Satisfied
As a fashion designer, Ye Mengze had a very sharp eye. She could even be called a pro at this.
That’s why every outfit she picked was beautiful and matched Lin Muqing’s style perfectly.
And since she had already taken Lin Muqing’s measurements when designing clothes before, the fit was absolutely perfect.
“Ah, good thing you reminded me! I almost forgot about this,” she said with a smile as she picked up each outfit one by one to give them a quick show.
Actually, Lin Muqing had already tried on most of these outfits earlier, but because there were too many clothes, Ye Mengze had forgotten that these few were specially bought for her.
“The first few times were a bit rushed, so I didn’t get the chance to give you a proper welcome gift. Now’s a good time to make up for it,” she said, smiling as she glanced at Lin Muqing, clearly satisfied with the look on her face.

Lin Muqing’s eyelids twitched a little. She felt super awkward but still politely said thanks. Even though she was smiling, inside she really felt more like crying.

He took the bags, and since they didn’t have anything else to do here, Ye Mengze offered to drive them home.
“Let’s go, we’re heading home.”
While Ye Mengze went to the next room to grab her bag and car keys, Ye Ziming walked over to Lin Muqing and gently poked her cheek with a smile.

Seeing that she had been successfully comforted, Ye Ziming smiled and patted her on the head.

Lin Muqing nodded obediently and followed behind her good friend, ready to leave.
Just then, Ye Mengze had already picked up Lin Muqing’s bag and was quietly waiting not far away. At the same time, she took in a big "bite" of the affection between her brother and Lin Muqing, like watching a romantic scene in real life.

Ye Ziming wasn’t good at everything, but he could learn quickly when needed.

Just as Ye Ziming walked to the fridge and was about to take out the ribs, Lin Muqing, sitting on the couch, called out to him.
“Hm?” He turned around, looking at her with a confused expression.
“Do you really want to see me wearing a dress?”
She asked nervously, fidgeting with her fingers. Since earlier, her mind had been distracted by this very question.
“Yeah.”
Ye Ziming was surprised for a moment. But after thinking for half a second, he gave an honest nod. He was still confused why she would suddenly ask that.
But then, he noticed a faint blush creeping onto Lin Muqing’s face. It was barely visible, but it was there.
Then, under his puzzled gaze, Lin Muqing quietly stood up and walked into her room without saying another word.
“Huh?”
Ye Ziming had no idea what she was up to. So he just turned back to the fridge, grabbed the ribs, and brought them to the kitchen to defrost. Though frozen ribs weren’t the freshest, they were convenient for storage.
He thought about it and felt Lin Muqing probably had something she needed to do. So, instead of immediately looking up recipes on his phone, Ye Ziming went back to the living room and waited quietly.
After a little while, the bedroom door slowly opened.
Lin Muqing stepped out, walking toward him. This time, she was wearing a beautiful lace dress and looked like a cute little fairy.
“H-how do I look…?”
