Chapter 186: A Strange Plan
When Lin Muqing appeared, the three Lin brothers acted extremely enthusiastic. Not only did they call her “little sister,” but each of them also prepared a gift for her.

“Want to play a game for a bit?”
He turned on the computer and launched a game, then asked her softly.

She turned her head to glance at him, let out a soft pouty hum, then went back to playing on her phone.

Meanwhile, at the Lin family’s house, the three brothers gathered again for a “family meeting.”
After Lin Muqing went upstairs earlier, the three had left Ye’s house early instead of staying with their parents.
“Brothers, I have a bold idea,” said the third brother, Lin Qiwen, raising his hand before the eldest could even speak.
“Say it.”
The two older brothers raised their eyebrows, puzzled, and looked at him.
“I think building a close relationship with our little sister might take a long time. But before that, we can do something else first…”
He paused dramatically, raised one finger, and looked at his brothers.
“Stop keeping us guessing. Spit it out,” said second brother Lin Zixuan, frowning impatiently.
“…We could secretly do a paternity test for our little sister and our parents.”
The room instantly fell silent.
Lin Yiming (the eldest) and Lin Zixuan widened their eyes. Then a spark of excitement flashed in their eyes, this plan actually sounded very feasible.
“Alright. But we have to make sure no one finds out.”
Lin Yiming was the first to agree and support the idea.
“Yeah, especially Mom and Dad. They can’t know,” Lin Zixuan nodded in agreement.

The three brothers started plotting how to collect hair samples from their parents and Lin Muqing. A strange plan was slowly taking shape.
That same night, they sneaked into Lin Cong’s study and found a few short strands of hair. Then, while rummaging through one of Meng Yue’s home outfits, they unexpectedly found two long hairs.
The only one left was Lin Muqing’s hair, which was trickier. They couldn’t just ask her or take it directly, that would be too suspicious.
“Bro, I don’t think Mom owns clothes like this…”
After leaving Lin Cong and Meng Yue’s room, Lin Qiwen looked at the two long hairs in his hand and frowned slightly.
Based on what he knew, his mom wouldn’t wear cute-style pajamas like that.
“Huh? Didn’t she wear that set the other day?”
Lin Yiming frowned slightly, trying to recall, and asked in response.
