Chapter 211: Going Out to Have Fun Today
After finding out the truth, Lin Muqing looked like a fully cooked crawfish. Her little face turned red as she rolled around on the bed.
“You lied to me!”
After rolling around several times, Lin Muqing suddenly remembered something. She only admitted she bought it because her good buddy said he hadn’t opened it.
Now that she thought about it, no wonder everyone at the table suddenly went quiet when she admitted it, and they gave her strange looks. So Lin Muqing lifted her head angrily and glared at her good buddy, looking like she was ready to question him.
“If I had said it was already opened, what would you have said then?”
Looking into Lin Muqing’s eyes, Ye Ziming didn’t feel guilty at all. Instead, with a slight smile, he asked her back,

But what she didn’t expect was that Ye Ziming suddenly told her he wanted to go out and have fun today, and wanted her to wear a pretty dress to go with him.
“You promised you’d make it up to me, right?”

Yesterday had been an accident. Even though she wore the dress, they didn’t get a chance to hang out because too much happened. But today was different, as long as they gave a heads-up, taking a free afternoon wouldn’t be that hard.
“Can I not wear a dress?”
Her lips pressed into a thin line, and she placed her two index fingers together in front of her chest. Lin Muqing looked up at her buddy, trying to ask in a cute way.
In her mind, dresses were evil, they made people forget that deep down, she was still a tough guy! So she must not wear such a thing again!
“The weather’s nice today. How about we go to a hot spring? You can wear a swimsuit… or not.”
Ye Ziming chuckled softly and gave a suggestion.
“Don’t tell me it’s a girly swimsuit…”
Looking at her bro’s expression, Lin Muqing felt like she had guessed it.
“A bikini.”
“No way! I refuse!”
The two of them chatted casually as they walked from their second-floor room down to the living room.
At one point, Lin Muqing said that even if she never got her “little brother” back, she would never wear that kind of super embarrassing swimsuit!
Ye Ziming didn’t seem to care. He just smiled quietly and thought to himself. He’d find a way to get Lin Muqing to wear it.
“Morning, Dad, Mom, brothers.”
She gave a quick greeting to the family, then sat down at the table to eat breakfast.
Compared to Lin Cong who stayed calm, her three brothers were very excited. Their little sister not only called them “brother,” but also greeted them warmly.

It was a new day, but Lin Muqing still felt annoyed by these three brothers.

Hearing her precious daughter’s request, Meng Yue smiled and agreed right away. She didn’t try to stop her at all. But after saying yes, she called her daughter over and told her to follow her to the bedroom after breakfast.
Lin Muqing looked confused. She didn’t really understand what her mom meant by that.
After finishing breakfast and cleaning up, Lin Muqing followed Meng Yue upstairs to the bedroom.
Meanwhile, Ye Ziming sat on the sofa, facing the three Lin brothers, big eyes staring at little eyes.
“...Is there something you want?”
Ye Ziming was puzzled. The three of them had been staring at him the whole time, giving off a faint sense of hostility, but none of them said a word.
He understood, though. After all, he took their sister right in front of them. It made sense they weren’t happy.

He didn’t believe this was just “hanging out.” It was obviously a date! And as soon as he heard about it, he got annoyed.
Ye Ziming was sweating and speechless. For a moment, he had no idea how to respond to his future brother-in-law.
Meanwhile, in the bedroom, after Meng Yue closed the door, she pulled Lin Muqing over to sit by the bed. Then she began talking about something “serious.”
She had a lot to say about those adult items and even planned to teach her daughter a few things about them.
It wasn’t about leading her daughter astray. It was about helping her learn how to protect herself better. That’s why she wanted to share this “special knowledge.”
“Mom… don’t tell me you also know about that delivery box?”
Lin Muqing pulled at the corner of her mouth awkwardly and asked with a complicated look on her face.

This situation was different from last night. Lin Muqing blushed hard and tried her best to explain things to her mom.
But what she didn’t realize was that her panicked expression made her look like she really was guilty of something.
So Meng Yue continued her little “lesson” and even started explaining those strange adult topics step by step.

This time, she didn’t even dare to play around anymore. No matter how mischievous she was, she’d never joke in this situation again!
While the mother and daughter were still talking, Lin Cong and Ye Mingxu, representing the two families, were discussing matters related to a marriage alliance.
When Lin Cong heard Ye Mingxu say that they planned to host a formal engagement banquet and make the relationship between their son and future daughter-in-law official, his expression changed. He frowned slightly. His mood suddenly wasn’t so great.

Even though he knew she’d get married one day, he hadn’t thought about handing her over just yet.
“She’s still too young,” Lin Cong said with a frown.
“I understand,” Ye Mingxu replied with a wave of his hand. “Let’s announce it now, then hold an engagement party when they’re adults. After they graduate from college, it’ll be just the right time to legally get married.” He even casually laid out the whole plan for the next few years.
In the study room, one person was grinning from ear to ear, while the other had his brows tightly furrowed like he was in pain.
