Chapter 223: Can Help with Breast Growth
Lin Muqing felt really confused. She had no idea what had just happened, or what that DNA test was even about. After thinking for a bit, she decided it really wasn’t a big deal.
Her mom didn’t even know the result of the test, and even without it, she had already wanted to accept her as a daughter. So even if the result was the worst possible, it wouldn’t change anything.
While Lin Muqing was thinking about all this, Fang Xiyue went up to Ye Ziming again, trying to give him the gift she had prepared.
As expected, Ye Ziming rejected her, turned around, and walked straight back toward Lin Muqing, completely ignoring Fang Xiyue.
“Remember what I said.”
After being rejected, Fang Xiyue turned and looked at Lin Muqing. She mouthed these warning words silently, then quickly left.
But unfortunately for her, Lin Muqing wasn’t even looking at her. She was only watching her good buddy. And even if she had looked, she wouldn’t have understood, because Lin Muqing didn’t know how to read lips. So, in the end, it was pointless.
“Did she say something to you?”
Ye Ziming walked up to Lin Muqing and asked with a bit of concern.
“She... umm, I don’t really know what she said.”
Lin Muqing shrugged, a bit helpless.
She could remember parts of what Fang Xiyue said earlier, so she just repeated it to her good bro. The two of them talked while heading toward the banquet hall.
After listening, Ye Ziming also felt confused. What he really wanted to know was, where did Fang Xiyue even get that DNA test?
“No idea. It didn’t even have any names on it. Just said there’s no blood relationship.”
Lin Muqing shrugged again as she spoke, while happily eating.
She didn’t understand the situation and didn’t think it was a real threat, so she just stopped thinking about it. In her mind, it was way more important to look at all this delicious food and decide what to eat next.
While she was so relaxed, Ye Ziming, on the other hand, frowned slightly, thinking hard about what could be going on.
His guess was that the DNA test had something to do with Lin Muqing, and maybe the other side of the test was Father or Mother Lin. But after thinking it through, he still couldn’t see how it would be a problem.
After all, when the test was done, both mother and daughter were in the hospital together. The chances of a mistake were incredibly low.
“Hey, which one of these do you think is best to eat more of?”
Ye Ziming was still deep in thought when Lin Muqing gently poked his arm and asked him with bright, excited eyes. She had tasted a little of everything and found it all delicious.
She really wanted to eat more, but her stomach was a bit small, so she had to carefully choose which dishes to go back to.
“This one. It has a lot of (collagen) protein.”
Raising an eyebrow, Ye Ziming glanced at the cheerful Lin Muqing and pointed at a dish in front of him.
“Protein? What’s the benefit of eating more of that?”
Trusting his advice, Lin Muqing picked up two pieces and put them on her plate, then asked curiously.
Ye Ziming didn’t answer right away. He just smiled mysteriously while she ate.
When she finished the first bite and was reaching for another, he finally smiled and said:
“It helps with breast growth.”
“Cough! Cough! Cough!!”
Those three simple words nearly made Lin Muqing choke on her own saliva.
“Here, drink some juice.”
Now Ye Ziming was clearly grinning with a mischievous look on his face. He didn’t expect Lin Muqing to react so strongly, so he quickly poured her some juice and handed it over while trying to help her calm down.
“You’re the worst!”
After drinking the juice and finally catching her breath, Lin Muqing exploded and started scolding him.
“Eating more collagen and plant-based protein, along with some vitamins and minerals, can help with bust growth.”
Ye Ziming raised an eyebrow and shrugged, acting innocent. He didn’t think he said anything wrong, he was just stating the truth.
He didn’t dislike how she looked, but yeah… Lin Muqing’s size was a little on the small side. He was thinking maybe he could “help” her grow a bit.
“Go away!”
Lin Muqing puffed up her cheeks in frustration and started throwing little “cat punches” at her good buddy. She didn’t need any of that bust-enhancing nonsense, thank you very much!

The two of them kept chatting and playing around. Seeing that Lin Muqing looked a little shy, Ye Ziming started recommending foods that were good for breast enhancement.
After a round of suggestions, oh boy—turns out most of the dishes here were related to that! It almost gave Lin Muqing a mental breakdown.
“Eat a bit more.”
Ye Ziming gently picked up a piece of food and acted like he was going to put it on Lin Muqing’s plate.
“No!”
Lin Muqing quickly took a step back, as if she had just seen something scary.
But what no one knew was… just a few minutes ago, she had really liked that dish, even thinking about eating more of it later.
“Brother Ye.”
While the two were still having fun, a voice suddenly came from behind Ye Ziming, it was Lin Wenbin.
“Hm?”
“Huh!?”
Ye Ziming calmly turned around, looking at the suddenly appearing Lin Wenbin with a confused expression.
Lin Muqing’s eyes flew wide open, and she sucked in a sharp breath of air, staring at Lin Wenbin in shock.
“Cousin, I’m Lin Wenbin,”
After greeting Ye Ziming, Lin Wenbin turned to greet his new cousin and nervously introduced himself. According to the family tree, even though they were about the same age, Lin Muqing was technically Lin Wenbin’s dad’s cousin.
“Ah, I…”
Right now, Lin Muqing was completely panicking, because Lin Wenbin was her classmate!
She was doomed. Until now, she had totally forgotten about this whole cousin situation with Lin Wenbin.
“Is there something you need?”
Ye Ziming, being observant, quickly noticed something was off. He took a small step to the side, subtly blocking Lin Wenbin’s view of Lin Muqing.
“Oh, not really. Just came over to meet my cousin,”
Lin Wenbin rubbed the back of his head and smiled casually.
There was something he didn’t say out loud, he actually came over because he wanted to see Brother Ye’s rumored girlfriend up close. And now that he had seen her, his conclusion was: Brother Ye’s girlfriend, his little cousin, is seriously pretty.
“Ahem, Brother Ye, cousin, I’ll see you next time!”
Not long after, Lin Wenbin noticed the mood felt a bit off. Maybe he was interrupting something. So he quickly said goodbye and left.
Five seconds after walking away, he suddenly thought of something. Can he still call Ye Ziming “Brother Ye” if he’s dating his little cousin?
Also, another thought popped into his head: his new cousin kind of looked a little bit like one of his annoying classmates…
After thinking it through, the slightly slow but sweet Lin Wenbin decided, it must just be a coincidence.
“Do you think he didn’t recognize me?”
After Lin Wenbin left, Lin Muqing finally peeked her head out and asked her good buddy nervously.
“Seems like it,” Ye Ziming nodded with a slightly awkward smile.
