Chapter 226: No Wonder He’s Such a Dummy
After sitting on the couch and chatting for a while, no matter what Ye Ziming said or tried, Lin Muqing still wouldn’t tell him what she had been thinking about.

Since they had only taken the morning off, they still had to go to school in the afternoon. But before that, they could take a short nap.

Lin Muqing took a deep breath, trying her best to look normal so she wouldn’t accidentally give herself away. She knew Lin Wenbin was kind of dumb, but she didn’t know how dumb he could be.
“I didn’t come this morning because I went to a banquet with my dad in City A last night.”
“That party was awesome. The main guest was my bro Ye’s girlfriend. She’s so pretty, I’m telling you. Even better than in the pictures. Just seeing her once is enough to make your whole year!”
While Lin Muqing was still stressing over how to face Lin Wenbin, there he was, already outside the classroom, loudly chatting with students from another class.
And every word of that conversation just happened to drift right through the window… straight into Lin Muqing’s ears.

Lin Muqing turned her head with a confused look and asked.
“Have you seen my future sister-in-law? She’s so pretty!”
