Chapter 18: The Date
An Han felt like he was about to die.
He hadn’t even reached the dark corner of the school field yet when Long Xing already came out to meet him, stopping him right under the streetlight.
They had walked for twenty minutes without any problem, but right at this critical moment, his stockings started slipping down again! Before leaving, he had even used double-sided tape to stick them firmly to his skin!
When An Han saw Long Xing walking toward him with eyes full of excitement, and maybe some hunger, shame and nervousness burst up inside him like a blazing fire.
His whole face turned red, the blush spreading from his cheeks to his neck and ears. His head felt so full of embarrassment that it hurt, like it was about to explode.

He forced out the answer using the fake voice he had practiced for days. With every word, he grew more nervous, scared that he might slip up.

Right, what is my name supposed to be?

So he simply stayed silent, lowering his head even more.

If his fake voice were good enough, An Han would have just refused outright. But now he could only speak word by word, afraid to even raise his head and show his face.

The moment he finished speaking, he stood up and walked straight toward the exit of the field.
Long Xing watched her back as she left, his heart aching like it was breaking apart.
It was the first time he had ever met a girl who made his heart race like this. Her personality, figure, and even the way she dressed were all exactly his type, like the girl of his dreams.
But… she already had a boyfriend.
Feeling crushed and helpless, he let out a long sigh.
Just then, he saw the girl stop in the middle of the field. A moment later, a man stood up to meet her, and the two of them left together.
