Chapter 121: Memory Gap
After dinner, Lin Muxi sat on the chair rubbing her round belly, looking very satisfied.
“Are you full?”
Seeing this silly girl slumped on the side, Mo Ziyang stood up, patted her little head, and was about to clean up the dishes.
But just as he was about to head to the kitchen, Lin Muxi tugged at his shirt from behind.
“What is it?” Mo Ziyang turned his head, looking puzzled.
He saw Lin Muxi’s cheeks slightly red, looking shy.
“Carry me back to the room first…”
Mo Ziyang froze for a moment when he saw her shy look. Then, after thinking about her words, he quickly guessed what she meant. The corners of his mouth couldn’t help but rise.
So he picked her up from the chair and carried her toward the room. As soon as he pushed the door open, he saw the white nightdress she had just changed out of.
Noticing his eyes drift toward the little dress, Lin Muxi leaned close to his ear with a playful tone.
“Hehe, do you still want me to wear that little dress~?”
“Of course I do… of course I do.”
Hearing her question, Mo Ziyang almost thought he had misheard. Even though he was surprised, it didn’t stop him from wanting to see his silly girlfriend in a dress.
After all, that dress was much more practical than the loose pajamas she was wearing now.

Mo Ziyang laid her gently on the bed.
“Why are you being so nice to me today? Normally you wouldn’t do this.” he asked curiously.
Even though Lin Muxi had already told him today was to reward him, he still couldn’t help but ask. Especially after what happened earlier with his parents, he didn’t expect his silly girl would still remember this.
But when she heard his question, Lin Muxi only showed a cheeky “I knew it” smile, clearly teasing him.
He finally realized this little trickster was playing with him.
“Lin Muxi, you…” Mo Ziyang didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
“I'm keeping my promise, but only for today. You won't get this chance again.”
Seeing him so serious, Lin Muxi crossed her arms unhappily.
She thought to herself, what’s wrong with him today? He’s acting like a block of wood. She made the first move, yet he kept questioning her.
Normally, whenever she took the initiative, Mo Ziyang would be so eager that he couldn’t wait to throw her onto the bed.
As she looked at him, Mo Ziyang also found it funny. This silly girl who used to be both bold and shy, now was actually taking the lead to tempt him.
“Come on, you can barely walk and I have to carry you. If you keep provoking me, don’t blame me if you can’t get out of bed tomorrow.”
After saying that, he was about to head back to the living room to clean up the table.
But Lin Muxi stopped him again.
“Hmph, who are you looking down on? Just a little play in the bathroom, I can handle it.”
She jumped down from the bed, wanting to catch him.
But her body, already worn out from what happened in the bathroom, couldn’t keep up with her words.
As soon as her white-socked feet touched the ground, they went weak.
With a “thump,” she fell straight to the floor in front of him.
“Pff…”
Seeing her silly fall, Mo Ziyang couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing. Clearly, the only strong part of her was her mouth.
Normally, he rarely laughed out loud, unless he really couldn’t help it. And this time, he couldn’t.
Even when he tried to hold it in, one laugh still slipped out and reached Lin Muxi’s ears.
“What are you laughing at? Just wait, I’ll fight you three hundred rounds right now!”
Seeing him laugh at her, Lin Muxi got embarrassed and angry, climbing up from the floor with a stubborn face.
Mo Ziyang, who had just calmed down, suddenly got a playful thought. Looking at his cute little silly girl, it would be a waste not to tease her more. He scooped her up again with a mischievous grin.
“Alright then, let’s see how long you can really last.”
“Eh?”
Lin Muxi froze, clearly not expecting him to say that so suddenly.
Mo Ziyang didn’t say much. After putting Lin Muxi on the bed, he closed the bedroom door right away.
“Wait… wait a second, I-I-I… I can’t anymore… don’t come over…!”

The first day of vacation.
Lin Muxi slowly opened her eyes on the soft big bed, her whole body weak and without any strength.
Her fair little face was still visibly blushing. The things that happened yesterday kept replaying again and again in her mind.
If she had known her “good bro” would really come back and deal with her, she definitely wouldn’t have said those words last night.

When she turned her body slightly, a wave of soreness made her hiss in pain, especially in her lower body…
Looking at the sunlight coming in through the curtains, she stretched lazily, then struggled to grab her phone.

The more she thought about it, the more embarrassed she felt. She only now realized how bold she must have been last night…
Quickly, Lin Muxi shook away her thoughts, blushing, and hurriedly got up.
From the smell drifting in from outside the room, it was obvious that Mo Ziyang was already making breakfast.
But before she could even step down from the bed, her little feet wobbled as soon as they touched the floor, not stopping at all.
“Seriously… what on earth did I go through last night…” Lin Muxi was stunned.
Not only did her legs feel shaky, but even standing up and trying to walk was difficult.
While she was still confused and helpless, Mo Ziyang walked in with a bowl of hot porridge.
Seeing Lin Muxi already sitting by the bed, his face showed a trace of surprise. He hadn’t expected this silly girl to wake up so early.
In his mind, after all the chaos last night, she could have easily slept until the afternoon.
“Not going to sleep a little longer?”
He placed the porridge on the table and sat down beside her, his eyes showing a bit of guilt. Especially when he saw her small, delicate figure through the thin pajamas, that guilt only grew stronger.
After all, the way she looked now was completely because of him. Last night had truly been a long “battle.”
And this silly girl, as if competing with him, just wouldn’t admit defeat. In the end, after a little more “trouble,” her body shook and she fainted.
That’s why Mo Ziyang had gotten up early today, cooking a bowl of rib porridge just for her.
“I feel sore all over right now… what did you even do to me last night? Why can’t I remember anything?”
Even though she felt shy, Lin Muxi still asked curiously when she saw him sit beside her.
“Nothing much… I just accidentally made you faint.”
Lin Muxi froze, staring at him in shock.
So that’s why she blacked out? He actually wore her out until she fainted? Wasn’t that a bit too much?!
Knowing he had gone a little overboard, Mo Ziyang quickly apologized, worried she might get upset with him.
“Sorry… just take it easy today.”
He spoke softly, scooping up some porridge and bringing the spoon to her lips. He knew she probably couldn’t handle much after last night, so now it was his job to take care of this silly girl.
“You… sigh, fine.”
Lin Muxi let out a rare sigh instead of getting angry. Since she had decided to “reward” him yesterday, she would just accept the result.
Besides, the light dark circles under his eyes showed he had gotten up very early just to cook porridge for her.
And honestly… she seemed to enjoy it yesterday too…
Blushing, she carefully opened her mouth and took the porridge, muttering quietly,
“If you do this again next time… then don’t touch me anymore.”
Her voice was soft, but Mo Ziyang still heard it clearly.
“Got it, my dear.”
He gently kissed her forehead, finally coaxing his sulky little girl back into a good mood.
