Chapter 127: Standing Up for Herself
Very quickly, with the help of Mo Ziyang’s “money power,” plates of freshly made seafood were served and placed in front of them.
Seeing that they were all foods she really liked, Lin Muxi, a true foodie, couldn’t help but stare wide-eyed.

“How did you know I like to eat these?”
“You tell me.”
Mo Ziyang gave a mysterious look, rubbed her little head, and explained, “We’ve been brothers for so many years. How could I not know what you like to eat?”
He said it casually, but the words hit differently for Lin Muxi.
With her head lowered while he rubbed her hair, she muttered softly, “Then how come I don’t know what you like to eat…”
“What did you say?”
Mo Ziyang’s sudden question startled Lin Muxi. She quickly realized she had slipped up and hurriedly covered her mouth.
Ahhh… how stupid!
She had actually said out loud what she was only thinking inside.
Seeing her good bro narrowing his eyes at her, Lin Muxi got nervous and shook her head fast.
“N-no… I didn’t say anything…”
“Really?”
The way she trembled made Mo Ziyang suddenly want to tease this silly girl a little. So, he gently put his hand on her shoulder, bent down, and whispered in her ear.
“If you don’t say it, then when we’re back at the hotel tonight…”
He stopped halfway, but two mischievous laughs by her ear said it all. Of course, Lin Muxi immediately understood his hidden meaning.
Remembering those days when her legs went weak and she couldn’t even get out of bed, her head drooped even lower, and her ears turned red.
But how could she say such things out loud? If she said it, wouldn’t that hurt his feelings?

After struggling in her heart for a while, Lin Muxi still didn’t want to hurt him. What she didn’t know was that Mo Ziyang had actually heard her clearly, he was just teasing her on purpose.

But Lin Muxi lifted her blushing face with a look that clearly said, ‘What did you just say?’ She had been seriously worrying, while her good bro was just teasing her!
“Mo Ziyang, you’re too much!”
Looking at his handsome face, Lin Muxi suddenly felt annoyed.
And for some reason, facing this teasing boyfriend of hers, she suddenly decided she should stand up for herself. Otherwise, if she let him tease her every day, he would just treat her like a pushover.

Mo Ziyang laughed out loud when he saw Lin Muxi covering her little head. This silly girl had actually gotten so mad that she bumped her head against him.
“Does it hurt?”
Mo Ziyang held back his laughter, gently moved her hand aside, and rubbed the spot with a bit of worry.
“What do you think!”
Lin Muxi raised her head, face full of shame and anger, glaring at her good bro.
But then she realized, not only had she been teased, but when she fought back, she was the one who got hurt. That just made her even angrier, so she raised her little fists and punched Mo Ziyang a few times.
Mo Ziyang didn’t bother with Lin Muxi’s little sulking. Instead, he peeled a shrimp, dipped it in sauce, and held it out in front of her.
“Open your mouth.”
“I don’t want to…”
Still angry, Lin Muxi turned her head away and puffed up her cheeks like a little hamster.
“Alright, don’t be mad. All of this was ordered for you. If you don’t eat it now, it’ll get cold.”
As he spoke, Mo Ziyang poked the shrimp gently at the corner of her lips. “Be good, come on, open your mouth.”
“Just this once… next time you’re not allowed to bully me again…”
Thinking about how he had ordered so much food just for her, and now even peeled shrimp to feed her, Lin Muxi finally gave in.
She glared at him softly, then opened her mouth and took a bite of the shrimp he fed her.
Right away, her angry little face lit up with a sweet smile.
Seeing this, Mo Ziyang gave her another shrimp and asked, “See? Isn’t it delicious?”
Lin Muxi looked at him and nodded.
“This time I’ll let you off…”
She gave him a symbolic warning, then finished the shrimp he was holding. After that, she turned her sadness into appetite, and started enjoying the seafood on the table with full energy. She ate happily and with great appetite.
The loving scene between them caught the attention of nearby diners, who couldn’t help but glance at the young, good-looking couple.
“Look at that girl, she’s so cute.”

“They’re such a perfect match. That guy could even compete with celebrities.”
Hearing this, Lin Muxi’s face turned a little red. After all, in the past when she was at home, she could hardly afford seafood, sometimes not even meat. But now, not only could she eat freely, she also had someone who loved her right by her side.
Thinking of this, Lin Muxi stopped caring about the stares around them. She slowly picked up a scallop with her chopsticks and placed it into Mo Ziyang’s bowl.
“What, you don’t like this?” Mo Ziyang asked, confused, not sure what this silly girl was trying to do.
Lin Muxi glanced at him, then whispered, “It’s for you to eat…”
As she spoke, she also picked a few other dishes she thought were tasty and put them in his bowl too.
Looking at her blushing face, Mo Ziyang lowered his head and gently kissed her forehead.
“Then I’ll thank my wife for this.”

After dinner, Mo Ziyang held Lin Muxi’s hand as they strolled along the beach at night. The noisy crowds of the daytime were gone, leaving only the sound of waves crashing against the shore.
“Mo Ziyang, slow down. I ate too much, I can’t walk anymore…”
Stuffed from all the seafood, Lin Muxi clutched his hand tightly, her light-blue shoes leaving little footprints in the sand.
As they walked, the sand was kicked up, some slipping into her shoes, some sticking to her white socks.
Hearing her words, Mo Ziyang stopped and turned around.
“I told you not to eat so much, but you wouldn’t listen. And now look.”
He looked at her holding her waist with a helpless smile.
Earlier, he had told her to stop eating if she was full. But this silly girl had insisted, saying, “If I don’t finish it, it’s a waste,” and kept eating no matter how much he tried to stop her. And now, she had stuffed herself until she could barely stand.
“How was I supposed to know you’d order so much? I just didn’t want it to go to waste…” Lin Muxi said pitifully.
With no other choice, Mo Ziyang shook his head, then crouched down.
“Get on. I’ll carry you.”
“I… I can walk by myself…”
Lin Muxi’s face immediately turned red. Being carried like a child was way too embarrassing… and there were still people around watching.
“When I say get on, just get on. Don’t talk so much.”
In the end, under his insistence, Lin Muxi slowly leaned onto his back, letting him carry her along the beach while they enjoyed the view.
With the sea breeze brushing against her face, Lin Muxi pressed gently against Mo Ziyang’s back, feeling a rare sense of comfort and peace.
