When her head was lifted and she was forced to look into her good bro’s eyes, Lin Muxi let out a small whimper. The strong feeling of embarrassment made her glance away, she didn’t have the courage to meet his gaze.

So before this silly girl could explain, he let go of her, turned her around, and pulled her tightly into his arms.

Feeling the warmth of leaning against her good bro’s chest, Lin Muxi’s nervous heart settled down. The anger and shame on her face faded, though the blush remained. She just quietly leaned on Mo Ziyang, lowering her head and staring blankly at the bubbles on the water’s surface.

After a long while, Lin Muxi finally spoke softly.
“You clearly know that I… I just… feel too shy to say it first…”
Resting against her good bro, her voice grew softer and softer, until it was no more than a faint whisper.

Mo Ziyang was amused, she was already this grown up, yet still so childish. But in the end, he still reached out and hooked his finger with hers.
“Pinky promise, if I break it, I’ll be punished for a hundred years…”
“Anyone who lies is a puppy…” Lin Muxi added angrily, puffing her cheeks.
Mo Ziyang laughed again. He never imagined that at his age, he’d one day make a pinky promise with someone. If anyone else knew, they’d probably laugh him to death. But since the one he was doing it with was his little wife, then it didn’t matter.
In fact, her sometimes childlike personality was exactly what he liked about her.
“Alright, alright, if I lie I’ll be a puppy,” Mo Ziyang replied with a smile.
He then gently placed his hand on Lin Muxi’s shoulder, slowly guiding her small body to lean back against him.
“Look at you. We’re bathing together, yet you keep lowering your head like that.”

Right now, he was struggling hard to control the “devil inside,” trying to calm his racing heartbeat, just so he wouldn’t ruin this sweet moment between them.

Frightened by his action, Lin Muxi quickly grabbed his hand.
