This whole thing… well, it actually had a reason behind it.
Because similar things had happened several times before, Ye Ziming could always guess what Lin Muqing was thinking, sometimes even just by random guessing.
But that’s exactly what made it scary. So when Lin Muqing saw that he was about to guess again, she got really nervous.

While Lin Muqing was walking with her head down, Ye Ziming suddenly reached out and pulled her back by the collar of her shirt.

Lin Wenbin laughed happily, even slapping the desk now and then as he shared what he thought was a funny story with Lin Muqing.

Maybe she got a little too worked up. After blurting out all those words in one breath, a slight blush appeared on Zhang Xiaoling’s face.
She glanced at Lin Muqing again, grabbed Lin Wenbin’s homework, and left at lightning speed.
Such huge news, she had to share it with her besties right away!

“‘May you have a baby soon’—that’s a good one.”
With a meaningful smile, Ye Ziming slowly turned his head to look at Lin Muqing, repeating those six words very deliberately.
