Chapter 147: Unsatisfied Desire?
When the sound of water in the bathroom stopped and the door opened, something strange happened.
The first person to come out was not Lin Muxi, but Mo Ziyang, who looked completely relaxed. Lin Muxi, on the other hand, followed behind him with an unhappy face.
As for what happened, of course, it was all because of Mo Ziyang’s “technique.”
Just because Lin Muxi had whispered outside, “Be gentle…”, Mo Ziyang really became too gentle.

The whole setup surprised Lin Muxi.
She had only taken a bath with him, so how did the beach suddenly turn into a full barbecue feast?
She looked at Mo Ziyang in confusion. Could money really make things this ridiculous? Sure enough, he was holding his phone, still talking.

Listening to him talk on the phone, Lin Muxi finally understood, he must have asked that friendly uncle to deliver everything while they were bathing.

“Go sit down and get ready to eat.”

Staring into his gentle eyes for a few seconds, Lin Muxi finally gave up.
Since he said there was no need to worry, she decided not to think too much. She walked over on her small feet and sat at the wooden table.
Meanwhile, Mo Ziyang naturally got busy preparing the barbecue.
The charcoal in the grill had already turned red under the sea breeze, with sparks sometimes flying out. It looked ready to start cooking.
But the night by the sea was still pretty cool, especially with the strong wind. So before starting the barbecue, Mo Ziyang took off his jacket and put it over Lin Muxi’s shoulders, worried that her small body might catch a cold.
Wrapped up in his big jacket, Lin Muxi sat on a chair with only her little head showing, watching as he carefully placed different foods onto the grill.
Soon, the sizzling sound of meat fat could be heard, and the smell of beef and lamb skewers filled the air. Next to them, abalone and scallops were roasting, their garlic topping spreading a delicious fragrance.
Lin Muxi was practically drooling already, especially when he sprinkled cumin and chili powder on top.
If Mo Ziyang wasn’t there, she probably wouldn’t have cared about her image and might have drooled all over the sand.
“Uu~ Brother Mo~, how much longer before we can eat?”
Unable to hold back her hunger, Lin Muxi opened a soda to ease her cravings, but her sparkling eyes never left the food on the grill.
This sight made Mo Ziyang laugh while adding seasoning to the skewers.
This little foodie… only Lin Muxi could be tempted so much by one barbecue.
“Come on, here, eat. Look at you, practically starving.”

Mo Ziyang picked up a tray, placed the finished skewers, abalone, and scallops on it, and handed it to her. Then he added more foil-wrapped garlic mushrooms and other dishes.
The moment she got the food, Lin Muxi happily ran back to the table and started gobbling down the skewers. Even knowing the seafood was hot, she still stuffed the smaller abalone straight into her mouth.
Right after, she sat fanning her mouth wide open, gasping, “Hsshhh ahhh, so hot, so hot…” This made Mo Ziyang laugh loudly while tending the grill.
He understood, though. With the way Lin Muxi grew up, she probably hadn’t eaten barbecue many times before. And even if she had, it was likely just cheap street stalls selling skewers by the handful.
Thinking about this, Mo Ziyang decided not to eat himself. Instead, he focused on grilling and serving as her personal chef for the night.
Whatever Lin Muxi wanted, he grilled. Tonight, he was determined to fill her up completely.
The barbecue lasted late into the night.
Only after his silly little foodie leaned back in her chair rubbing her full, round belly did Mo Ziyang finally bring some food for himself. He opened a bottle of beer, ready to enjoy it with the sea breeze and the feast.
But of course, this caught Lin Muxi’s attention.
“Hey… Mo Ziyang, drinking is bad for your health.”
She walked over, leaned softly against him, and looked up with unhappy eyes.
Mo Ziyang smiled and rubbed her head, his heart warmed. He hadn’t expected his little sweetheart to sometimes care for him so much.
“Don’t worry, I won’t drink too much.”
“No… you can’t drink at all.”
Lin Muxi pouted angrily. Then, to Mo Ziyang’s shock, she snatched his glass and downed it in one gulp.
“Hmph! That’ll teach you not to drink… Ugh, why is it so bitter? It’s awful…”
Her face scrunched up right away, even sticking out her tongue. Clearly, beer was not something she could handle.
Mo Ziyang finally snapped out of his surprise. Drinking so much at once, he was worried she’d start acting drunk any minute.
“You silly girl… chugging like that, and you still snatch it from me?” He knocked her lightly on the head.
But instead of being scared, Lin Muxi proudly patted her chest and said, “W-who says I can’t? I can drink a lot too!”
“Really?” Mo Ziyang looked at her with doubt.
From how she reacted to the bitterness just now, she definitely didn’t look like someone who could handle alcohol.
But sure enough, her little face was already red as she poured another drink for him, waiting for their glasses to clink together.
“Sigh…” With things already at this point, Mo Ziyang could only let out a helpless sigh. He accepted the glass and drank together with his silly little girl.
