Chapter 158: Little Maid Returns
Late in the afternoon, near dinner time.
With the sound of a key turning, Lin Muxi, who had been busy all day, finally came back to her cozy little house.
“Wow, finally home.”
As soon as she walked in wearing her little dress, Lin Muxi flopped onto the living room sofa and went limp, giving off a very lazy vibe.
Even though she had spent most of the trip back either looking at her phone or sleeping, she still felt tired. She didn’t want to move from the sofa at all.
When Mo Ziyang put his things down and gently tapped her little bottom, Lin Muxi only gave a small annoyed look. She had no energy to fuss.
“You that tired?”
Mo Ziyang couldn’t help but smile. He couldn’t imagine anything that would tire this little fool enough to stop teasing him.
Lin Muxi just turned over and lay down. “Dead tired… I don’t want to move.”
Mo Ziyang didn’t get angry. Instead, he showed a meaning-ful smile. He went into Lin Muxi’s room and dug in the wardrobe. He found a maid outfit and a pair of white stockings that had been stored there a long time ago.
Since this little girl was too tired to move, he thought, maybe she could take a bath and then change into the maid outfit. With that idea, he brought the outfit back to where Lin Muxi was lying and playing on her phone.
At that moment Lin Muxi was happily chatting with Yu Xiaoxiao and didn’t notice Mo Ziyang standing next to her.
[Yu Xiaoxiao: I heard you’re back from the beach. How was it? Fun?]
[Lin Muxi: It was okay… I planned to stay half a month, but my body acted up so I came back early.]
[Yu Xiaoxiao: Your body acted up…?]
Yu Xiaoxiao, who was eating out with Xiao Luyu, paused and looked confused.
“What’s wrong?” Xiao Luyu asked, thinking something bad had happened. “Why would going to the beach need special health stuff?”
They both froze for a moment until Lin Muxi sent another message.
[Lin Muxi: I started my period.]

Yu Xiaoxiao laughed when she realized.
“I’m not a girl, how would I know?” Xiao Luyu scratched his head awkwardly. But since Lin Muxi was his sister-in-law, he suggested they visit her the next day.
“Let’s go see Lin Muxi tomorrow?” he asked.
“Okay, sounds good,” Yu Xiaoxiao agreed. She thought it would be nice to care for her friend during this time.
So Yu Xiaoxiao quickly texted:
[Yu Xiaoxiao: I’ll come visit Sister Lin tomorrow.]
[Lin Muxi: Great! I’m bored stuck at home.]
Just as Lin Muxi felt happy about that, she turned and suddenly noticed Mo Ziyang standing beside her holding a pile of clothes. The smile on her face froze.
Wait, wasn’t that the maid costume they wore to the comic convention? What was he doing with it now?
A bad feeling rose in Lin Muxi’s chest. She shivered and couldn’t help remembering what had been said back at the beach.

“What makes you so happy?”
Mo Ziyang sat down beside Lin Muxi with a smile while holding the clothes, and gently rubbed her little head.
“I… um… it’s just that Yu Xiaoxiao said she’s coming to visit me tomorrow…”
Lin Muxi quickly turned off her phone and answered nervously.
