As one of the key people in charge of the entire Divine Trial, she had known the content of the final test, the Three Questions of the God, for a long time. She had even secretly thought about the meaning behind the questions asked by the Goddess.
"What is the world?"
This question might have different answers for different people. But for a believer of the Goddess Church, and especially for her, the Pope, the answer was very clear.
The world is a beautiful home full of miracles and life, created by the highest source of all creation, the Primordial Light. It is a great and amazing work made by the hands of that divine power.
Whether it is the goddess walking the world in human form, or the [Tree of Creation] she once saw at the end of the River of Time, they are all strong proof of this truth.
But since the Goddess Herself is the Primordial Light, there’s no way She doesn’t already know all of this. So, the question must have a much deeper meaning.
The fact that She placed this question at the very end of the entire trial… maybe it was meant to hint at some kind of deep mystery, something that cannot be spoken out loud.
She is a god, the Primordial Light, yet She walks the world in human form. Even when the truth is very clear, She still insists again and again on hiding Her real identity.
As a believer, Miss Holy Knight could only try to play along with this strange behavior… It all seemed a bit confusing, even self-deceiving. But the wisdom of the Goddess is vast like a sea of clouds.
Edwina always believed that the Goddess would never do something meaningless without a good reason.
Now, thinking again about these “Three Questions of the God”, and the deeper meaning behind them…
Edwina felt like she was close to understanding something. But when she tried to explain it in her mind, it still felt vague and unclear, like a building floating in the clouds. She couldn’t grasp a full and clear answer.
She thought for a long time. Many possible answers came to her mind, each different from the last. But she denied them one by one. In the end, the young Pope only shook her head with a small sigh and said with a hint of helplessness:
“Sorry… I can’t give an answer to this question.”
“You can’t answer, huh…”
Instead of looking upset, the black-haired priestess nodded with a smile of approval.

Almost at the exact moment when Elunie Light softly spoke the last word, the golden symbols floating calmly on the [Gate of Heaven] suddenly burst into shining light.
They turned into a holy glow from the sky, surrounding the blind girl completely!

The ring-shaped mark on the back of her hand, which was already two-thirds complete, began to glow with golden light and quickly filled in, forming a complete, perfect circle.

They looked up toward the shining pillar of light reaching into the sky, their faces filled with shock and joy.
Some even fell to their knees right where they stood, whispering prayers and blessings, offering their heartfelt thanks for the birth of the Chosen and the kindness of the Goddess.
“The Goddess… actually chose me?”
Elunie couldn’t see, but because of that, she had been sensitive to energy and spiritual feelings since she was young, far more than normal people.
The moment the warm light and powerful energy touched her, she already understood everything even before Saintess Yuna announced it.
But what filled her heart more than anything was surprise, surprise that the Goddess had made this choice.
There were three people competing for the position of “Heaven”. Through all her experiences and the time they had spent together, Elunie had come to clearly understand the other two were far better than her.
There was Mr. Farnell, a once-in-a-century genius in martial arts with amazing natural talent… And Miss Nolan, a true descendant of a god with a noble background and powerful status.
Compared to them, Elunie was just a poor, powerless girl from a small village, with no wealth, no special skills… and even blind.
