Chapter 313: Did You Stab Someone or Kill Someone?
The room suddenly became very quiet.

The mess under the blanket was shocking. No matter how Xia Changyu tried to think about it, he couldn’t believe what had happened last night.

Xia Changyu also held onto the blanket and said slowly, “You forgot your period was coming? Is that even something people can forget?”
Lin Yibai was startled, “Are you blaming me?”

At first, Lin Yibai didn’t think much of what he said. It even sounded reasonable. But after thinking about it a moment, she raised an eyebrow and asked, “Okay then, Mr. Xia Changyu, how exactly do you plan to stop this kind of bleeding?”
It’s a period, you can’t stop it!

Lin Yibai was also in a hurry, but tried to stay calm and gave an excuse. “Well, here’s the thing… I just forgot my period was coming… and I think I ran out of pads at home. Could you go out and buy some for me?”

Nothing more needed to be said. Xia Changyu immediately got out of bed and got ready to go.

Then she picked it up and left the apartment.

Then, she rushed to buy new bedsheets and blankets. After all, she was a caring and responsible young woman!
She wanted to make sure the apartment looked just back to its original state before that silly boyfriend who had gone to buy pads came back.

But this was a highly developed modern city. And just as she was throwing away the bedding and setting up the new ones, someone knocked on the apartment door.
“Who is it?”
“Police. Open the door.”
“Huh?”
Lin Yibai opened the door, totally confused.
So that blood-covered bedding she threw out really did get her in trouble.
She had wrapped it so neatly, and the sheets still looked pretty new on the outside. Someone got curious, opened the bundle, saw all the blood, and immediately called the police.
Now the police were standing at her door, looking super serious, like, ‘Did you kill someone?’
Lin Yibai quickly waved her hands and said, “I didn’t do anything! I didn’t kill anyone, really!”
The police said, “Then how do you explain all that blood on the sheets? Even if it’s not murder, it still looks like you stabbed someone.”

If someone was stabbed, it could have been her.
