“No problem,” Su Peng replied with a grin. Then, with curious eyes, he asked, “So… why did you buy so many sanitary pads?”

Both of them answered in their hearts at the same time.
“My shoes don’t fit very well, and I heard these work great as insoles…” An Han explained nervously.
So he did recognize that it was a sanitary pad…
Su Peng looked at her, noticing how she didn’t dare meet his eyes and how her legs were stiff from embarrassment. Her nervous little look was strangely cute, so he nodded in agreement, playing along.

“Hey, I remember you said you were planning to go to grad school, right?” An Han asked casually. “Where are you planning to take the exam?”
“Probably abroad… My family actually wanted me to study overseas after high school, but I thought it’d be too hard living alone in a foreign country, so I didn’t go.”
