Chapter 132: The Cinema
An Han was anxious and wanted to get away from Su Peng.
What on earth was she thinking? How did she end up going to the movies with Su Peng?! And to make it worse, she somehow even gained a bit of body stats.
She kept glancing down at her chest, her legs pressed tightly together, hugging the Coke bottle in her arms, and occasionally looking out the window. Her heart was a mess.
She had no idea what this new “body stat” would bring.
A rounder butt? Bigger breasts? Or maybe a more perfect body ratio?
How was she supposed to survive in the boys’ dorm if that happened?!
Before, with a little disguise, and the image her classmates and roommates had of her over the past two years, she could still pass as a gentle-looking girl who was actually a man in disguise. But once her chest grew noticeably, that “man” image would be the first thing to fall apart.
“Tomorrow it’ll get colder,” Su Peng said, still looking at his phone. “They say a cold front is coming from the north.”
An Han was stunned for a moment, then secretly overjoyed. Cold weather was great, it meant she could add more layers of clothing without looking suspicious. Even if her chest grew, she could still hide it pretty easily!
“Yeah,” she replied, trying to sound casual. “The cold front’s coming pretty early this year…”
“Remember to wear more clothes,” Su Peng said calmly.
He was worried that An Han’s body might develop even more but that she would still foolishly think a thin jacket could hide it.
“I know.”
So, girls’ development really happens little by little, huh?
Last month, there wasn’t any change in her chest at all. But today, he suddenly noticed some growth?
Su Peng took a quick glance but immediately looked away, afraid she might think he was a pervert. Maybe it was because he usually avoided looking there in the first place.
After a short ride, the car stopped in a busy shopping district. An Han got out and stood by the roadside, looking up at the huge mall in front of her, then turned to ask,
“How long until the movie starts?”
“Fifteen minutes. If we go up now, it’ll start right away.”
“I… my stomach hurts…”
An Han still didn’t really want to see a movie with Su Peng, especially since there wouldn’t be many people in the theater. Who knew what might happen in the dim lighting if they sat together?
Since the system’s task had already been completed when she got into the car, she figured if she ran away now, the system wouldn’t stop her.
“Your stomach hurts?” Su Peng paused, then put his hands in his pockets and smiled. “Are you sure? If you go to the restroom, you’ll miss the beginning of the movie.”
“……”
An Han’s eyes fell on his pocket, the same one where he had put her sanitary pads earlier.
You’re threatening me!
She glared at him quietly, then reluctantly shook her head.
“It doesn’t hurt anymore. Suddenly it’s fine.”
Su Peng was getting worse, bolder and more domineering!
He clearly knew she didn’t want to go to the movie, yet he threatened her…
But since he had something to hold over her, she could only let it slide for now. One day, she’d get back at him for this!
She followed behind him with small, sulky steps as they entered the mall and waited for the elevator that led up to the cinema on the top floor. An Han was already thinking of ways to make Su Peng suffer a little, but she couldn’t act out now.
A prank wouldn’t work, if he misunderstood it as flirting again, she might end up being forcefully kissed…
So frustrating. Ever since Su Peng had become more assertive, he was getting harder and harder to deal with. Fortunately, he was so blinded by love right now that he was acting like an idiot.
“Let’s go. What are you thinking about?”
Once again, her hand was pulled forward, and An Han stumbled a little as she followed Su Peng into the elevator.
This time, she didn’t fall for his “handsome guy charm.” She quickly reacted, raised her eyebrows, glared at him, and pulled her hand free.
“Keep your hands to yourself!”
She stepped aside to put some distance between them, raised the cold Coke she had been holding, took a few big gulps, and let out a burp. That little bit of frustration she felt instantly faded away~
“You… shouldn’t drink too much Coke,” Su Peng said softly, wanting to remind her that girls shouldn’t drink cold beverages during their period.
But An Han didn’t feel any discomfort at all after drinking the iced Coke. Instead, she looked at Su Peng suspiciously, frowning slightly.
Why was he even commenting on what she drank now? Could it be… he knew she was on her period?!
That sudden thought made her instantly alert.
Right! If he did know, then his calm acceptance of her clumsy excuse about the sanitary pads would make sense!
No way. Even her roommates, who saw her every day, didn’t notice anything. How could Su Peng possibly know? Obviously, he was just being dumb again.
An Han pouted and said, “Mind your own business.”
She carefully replayed everything that had happened over the past two days since she became a girl, every word and action with Su Peng. She was sure she hadn’t revealed her secret at all. It must’ve just been a coincidence.
When the elevator doors opened, An Han walked out first and entered the dimly lit cinema. She spoke bossily to Su Peng while picking a seat for herself, crossing her legs comfortably and pretending to be confident.
“Go buy me a Coke, popcorn, and all those snacks over there. I want one of each.”
That’s what you get for threatening me! I’ll make you spend all your money. You’ll regret going out with me!
“I’ll go print the tickets first.”
Su Peng hurried over to the self-service ticket machine to collect them. Meanwhile, An Han’s attention had already turned to the plush toys and merchandise sold in the cinema.
Snacks alone wouldn’t cost him much, so maybe she could make him buy some expensive merch instead…
Unfortunately, after checking, the priciest item was only a small figure that cost just over a hundred yuan.
“Should we go in now and wait for the movie to start?” Su Peng asked as he returned with the tickets and an armful of snacks.
An Han didn’t answer. Instead, she casually asked, “How much allowance do you usually get per month?”
“That depends on how much my card limit is,” Su Peng replied.
“……”
Fine… maybe I should change my plan for revenge. Maybe she could make him do something he really didn’t like instead?
Her eyes landed on the claw machines standing near the cinema entrance.
“Do you like playing claw machines?” she asked.
“Not really,” Su Peng said, shaking his head.
Perfect!
Without hesitation, An Han stood up and walked straight toward the machines, speaking with full confidence.
“Come on, pay for me with your phone!”
“My hands are full,” Su Peng said helplessly, smiling a little.
He was carrying Cokes and snacks in both hands, so he turned slightly, showing the pocket where his phone was.
“Just grab it yourself, and take out the tickets while you’re at it.”
“So troublesome…” An Han muttered, reaching into his jeans pocket to pull out the phone. “What’s the password?”
“An Han,” Su Peng said.
“What?”
He spelled it out again, “a-n-h-a-n.”
An Han froze mid-action, staring at him in surprise and disbelief.
You’re using my name as your password? Aren’t you afraid your roommates will find out?
