Chapter 133: Su Peng Lost His Mind Because of Love

Su Peng always knew how to hit An Han right in the heart, and cause real emotional damage.

Seriously?! Using my name as your password?!

Isn’t he worried his roommates or friends might see him typing it in? Even if he’s not embarrassed, I would be!

Fuming, An Han unlocked his phone and stared at the English letters on the lock screen. She took a deep breath to calm herself.

Stay calm. Su Peng is just blinded by his feelings. Acting dumb is normal for someone in love.

“I’ll help you change your password, something that is easier to remember.”

“It’s fine. I usually use face unlock, so I don’t really type the password,” Su Peng said cheerfully, as if reading her thoughts. “I also set up quick payments, so you can just scan the code to pay.”

An Han had already changed the password anyway. She looked up at Su Peng’s smiling face and muttered unhappily, “But you still won’t tell me your payment password…”

“There’ll be chances in the future,” he replied with a grin.

So he’s actually guarding against me?

Do I look like the kind of person who’d use his phone to send money to myself?!

Muttering under her breath, An Han scanned the code on the claw machine and bought ten tries, fully focusing on the game after that.

Su Peng stood nearby with his arms full of snacks and drinks, having nothing to do but wait, watching her play.

If only she could make him stand there for a few hours, that’d be the perfect revenge.

She watched as the claw lifted a plush toy high into the air, then twitched for no reason and dropped it again.

Taking a deep breath, she clenched her fists.

“Again!”

But it was the same every time. Even when she carefully aimed and grabbed the toy firmly, the claw always shook at the top and dropped it right before the prize chute.

By the tenth attempt, her breathing had grown heavier. This game is only good for people with low blood pressure! Mine’s through the roof now!

“This kind of machine has a set win rate,” Su Peng said gently beside her. “It’s like a lottery, after around a dozen tries, if you aim well, you’ll definitely get one.”

“Damn it!”

“Still want to keep playing?”

“Let’s go watch the movie!”

If she kept going, she’d seriously need blood pressure pills.

“Perfect timing, the movie starts in two minutes,” Su Peng said, smiling as if he’d already known this would happen. “Oh right, give me my phone back.”

“No way!”

An Han’s eyes brightened. She quickly unlocked Su Peng’s phone and started checking his social media apps for any embarrassing secrets.

“You actually deleted all your chat history?”

“Just out of habit,” he said casually.

“Yeah right, sounds suspicious!”

As they passed the ticket check, An Han handed the two tickets to the staff and opened his social feed.

“You don’t even use your feed?” she said in disappointment. She had been hoping to find some cringe posts from his teenage years.

“You don’t post either,” Su Peng replied calmly.

It was true, neither of them liked sharing their private lives online.

An Han searched through his phone but couldn’t find a single piece of dirt. Finally, with disbelief, she opened his photo album.

There were a few suggestive photos of pretty girls, but not many, fewer than what she herself had. Most of the pictures were memes or screenshots.

“You don’t even have any selfies? Not even those silly or overly dramatic ones?”

“If you want, you can take a picture of me now. If it’s a photo together, I’d be even happier,” Su Peng said, looking at her like a playful cat jumping around his feet. He seemed to be in a very good mood.

An Han quietly shoved the phone back into Su Peng’s pocket.

This guy has no weak spot at all! Even if she wanted to get back at him, there was no way to do it.

And if she went too far, she was afraid he might do something strange again.

I really shouldn’t have come to the movies…

When she finally sat down inside the theater, the movie had just started. There were only about ten people in total. In front of her sat a couple, and everywhere else was almost empty.

The room was dark, the only light coming from the big screen ahead. The dim atmosphere made her feel uneasy, worried that Su Peng might take advantage of the darkness to do something to her.

But… based on his personality, he shouldn’t be the kind of guy to take advantage of a girl in the dark, right?

An Han glanced at him and scooted her seat slightly farther away.

Then again, before that forced kiss, she had thought he wouldn’t do something like that either… though, if she was honest, it hadn’t felt that bad…

She quickly pushed away the tiny flicker of excitement in her mind and focused on the screen instead.

Because of his rising affection level, her resistance was getting weaker and weaker. At first, when she felt strange emotions toward Su Peng, she would feel disgusted and resist them. But now, she only realized it afterward, and even her sense of rejection was fading.

If this kept going, she really might get “bent”… Although, given her current gender, liking boys was technically normal.

Leaning on one arm, she rested her cheek on her palm, tossing popcorn into her mouth from time to time. Her eyes were on the screen, but her mind wasn’t following the movie at all.

Ugh, even though I didn’t want this, my body stats have already increased by three points…

My small chest is going to develop fast, probably turning noticeable in just one day…

She had to be extra careful not to let her roommates notice anything strange.

Even though the movie itself had no romance scenes, the couple in front of her were already whispering and teasing each other.

Suddenly, An Han felt Su Peng’s hand reaching toward her. Her eyelid twitched, she jumped up on instinct. Su Peng froze for a moment, then calmly placed his hand on the armrest.

“What’s wrong?”

“N–nothing.”

I thought you were going to start touching me like that guy in front did to his girlfriend…

Still a bit shaken, she sat back down. As long as she didn’t lose her head, she could still protect herself. Too dangerous…

“System, use mind-reading!” she ordered mentally.

Let me see if Su Peng plans to do anything weird in this theater. If he does, I’ll find a reason to hide in the bathroom.

[Activation failed. Not enough hormone energy.]

You could’ve just said “not enough magic power”! Why use the word ‘hormone’? Now I can’t stop thinking about succubi or fox spirits!

Grumbling in her heart, An Han shot a cautious glance at Su Peng, then stood up and moved to a different seat.

The theater was nearly empty anyway, she could sit wherever she wanted.

“What are you so afraid of?” Su Peng’s voice sounded slightly rough, with a hint of frustration.

“You know perfectly well what you did,” An Han glared at him.

Su Peng looked at her with a conflicted expression, regretting his impulsive behavior from before.

Now, even watching a movie together, she acted so tense. Clearly, she saw him as some kind of villain.

“By the way… the sanitary pad…”

An Han suddenly remembered it was about time. Just moments ago, she had been trying to keep her distance, but now she had no choice but to approach him again.

“What about it?”

“My shoes are all sweaty… I want to change the insole,” she said awkwardly, not very convincingly.

She knew her excuse made no sense, and she deeply regretted giving all her pads to Su Peng earlier. Now, every time she needed to change, she had to ask him for one.

Expressionless, Su Peng handed her a pad.

“Thanks!”

As expected, Su Peng really has lost his mind because of love. He believes everything I say!
