Chapter 99: An Han Actually Likes Wearing Women’s Clothes?!
This area was in the center of the city. Even though An Han had been studying here for more than two years, he had come to this district fewer than five times.
After finishing their late-night meal, he walked out of the barbecue restaurant and looked at the brightly lit streets, colorful lights, busy crowds. But he suddenly felt lost, not knowing where to go next.
Internet cafes usually started offering overnight packages after 10 p.m., and it was still far too early.
“Going back to school?” Su Peng asked beside him.
“Let’s just walk around a bit,” An Han said, rubbing his full belly. But when his hand touched the silky material of his cheongsam, his face darkened again.
Wearing women’s clothes, feeling proud of how good he looked, and noticing people turning their heads to look at him, that mix of confidence and attention gave him a strange, addictive pleasure. But his rational mind told him this feeling was definitely not normal.
If he could, An Han wanted to change back into his men’s clothes immediately and look like his usual self. But the system’s task was only half finished, quitting halfway wasn’t an option.
The night wind brushed against his exposed shoulders and thighs, the chill making his skin tighten. He shivered.
Back inside the convention hall earlier, he could still pretend to ignore what he was wearing. But now, outdoors, the cold air constantly reminded him that he was wearing a short cheongsam that barely covered half his thighs.
He instinctively wrapped his arms around his shoulders. The blush that had started when he first put on the cheongsam still hadn’t faded.
“Cold? Then just change your clothes,” Su Peng said, taking the bag off his shoulder.
“No!”
An Han refused firmly.
In his backpack were the men’s clothes and jacket he had changed out of earlier, but the system mission clearly stated that he had to wear the cheongsam on the outside.
“What’s wrong with you?”
Su Peng sighed helplessly.
Did this cross-dresser really like wearing women’s clothes that much? So much that he’d rather freeze than take them off?
“Let’s go to the internet cafe!” An Han said suddenly.
“There are computers in the dorm, you know,” Su Peng reminded him.
He wasn’t wrong, if all An Han wanted to do was use a computer, the dorm would’ve been the better choice. And besides, it didn’t explain why he still refused to change back into his normal clothes.
Trying to divert the topic, An Han turned his head and asked suspiciously, “Didn’t you say you had a blind date today? Why did you suddenly show up at the convention?”
“The blind date was nearby,” Su Peng shrugged. “I heard there was an anime event, so I came to check it out.”
“Really?”
“Of course. It’s not like I knew you’d be here, in a cheongsam, no less.”
Well, that part might not be so sure. Lin Yi the gossip queen could’ve easily spilled the beans!
The topic successfully shifted, and An Han let out a quiet sigh of relief. They chatted as they walked and soon arrived at a nearby internet cafe.
The cafe didn’t have many customers, but it was surprisingly nice inside. Clean, with the air conditioning running and not a trace of cigarette smell.
The chatter of gamers, the clacking keyboards, and the occasional burst of laughter created a lively, comfortable atmosphere.
“Not bad~” An Han said with a small smile. Though he still thought the school dorms had the best gaming atmosphere, this place was better than expected.
As Su Peng followed him in, he reminded, “Did you bring your ID card?”
“Of course!”
He had already guessed the system wouldn’t make things easy for him, so he came prepared.
When they reached the counter, An Han patted Su Peng’s shoulder and said, “Turn around. My ID’s in my bag.”
Su Peng obediently turned the backpack around so that An Han could reach it. Ever since they met earlier, this bag had become Su Peng’s burden. Yet An Han didn’t seem thankful at all. Instead, he looked completely justified in letting Su Peng carry it.
If Su Peng hadn’t volunteered to help, An Han probably would have threatened or forced him to take it anyway.
Even so, somehow, An Han wasn’t annoying at all when he acted like this.
At that moment, An Han took his ID card from the bag and leaned forward with a smile to ask the guy behind the counter, “How much for an overnight session?”
He reached out and handed over his ID, but suddenly, his body froze.
Wait! I forgot something!
The staff member casually took the ID to register it, but then his eyes fell on the photo. He blinked, looking up at An Han, then back down at the ID, then up again.
“……”
Trying his best to stay calm, An Han stood straight, crossed his arms, and awkwardly brushed his hair aside. Acting casual, he asked, “What’s wrong?”
Next to him, Su Peng also handed over his own ID. Glancing at the nervous An Han, he tried not to laugh and asked, “Is there a problem?”
“Well… yeah, a pretty big one,” the staff scratched his head, checked the ID again and again, then said awkwardly, “You can’t use someone else’s ID.”
“That is me! Look carefully!”
The guy frowned and looked again. The ID said “male,” but the person standing in front of him was clearly a girl.
Even if it was a boy in women’s clothes, the difference between the photo and the person was way too big.
The eyes might look a bit similar, but the most likely case was a minor using her older brother’s ID to play games. Even though An Han’s makeup and outfit made him look quite mature, his figure didn’t match that of an adult at all.
The staff put the ID back on the counter and shook his head again. “No way. If I get caught, I’ll be fined.”
Then he looked at Su Peng. “Do you still want to register? If you do, she can’t play.”
“If only they still had temporary guest passes…” An Han muttered unhappily, taking back his ID. “I thought you could use face scan now?”
He wasn’t worried about other places. He knew that at train stations, for example, face scanning would still work fine during the holidays. Unless, of course, the system couldn’t even recognize his face anymore.
“So where to now?” Su Peng asked, hands in his pockets, watching An Han’s puffed cheeks. He was obviously pouting out of frustration, and Su Peng couldn’t help smiling.
It really seemed like after putting on women’s clothes, An Han’s feminine side became more and more natural. There wasn’t a single trace of masculinity left.
“Let’s find a smaller internet cafe. They probably won’t be this strict,” An Han said, walking out.
Back on the street, he crossed his arms again uneasily, instinctively trying to hide behind Su Peng to avoid people’s stares. The night wind made him shiver slightly.
But deep down, he knew clearly that the real danger wasn’t the strangers around them. It was Su Peng right next to him!
With his affection level over 90, An Han didn’t dare stay alone with Su Peng on the now quiet, empty streets. Spending the night at an internet cafe had been the safest plan—but now, he had to change it. Hotels didn’t count as “public places” under the mission rules, so that option was off the table.
“Why don’t you just go back to school?” Su Peng suddenly asked.
“I don’t want to. I want to stay out all night.”
“Are you still going to the convention tomorrow?”
“No.”
So this was his last time crossdressing for a while? No wonder he seemed so attached to it. Su Peng could clearly feel how much An Han actually liked wearing women’s clothes.
