Chapter 176: Playful Moments in the Cafeteria
The university cafeteria was very different from the high school one, which only had a few simple dishes. Here, there were both small food stalls run by the school and many restaurants from outside, so the choices were very rich.
Even the school-run stalls had all kinds of food. Hotpot skewers, noodles, rice noodles, and more, much better in quality than the high school cafeteria.
Walking hand in hand with her boyfriend in the university cafeteria, Lin Muxi’s curious little head kept turning left and right, just like someone entering a big new world for the first time. Her face was full of surprise.
“Wow, are all university cafeterias this fancy…?”
Looking at all the food stalls selling delicious meals, Lin Muxi was so tempted. Especially when she saw barbecue rice, chicken hotpots, and some local dishes she had never even tried before, her stomach couldn’t help but growl twice.
Right now, Lin Muxi really wished she could start studying at this university right away, so she could eat here every day.
Seeing the little girl next to him almost drooling, Mo Ziyang gently rubbed her head with a spoiled smile and asked,
“Is there something you want to eat? I’ll take you to get it.”
“Eh? Anything is okay?”
“Of course.”
Facing his girlfriend with two bright, excited eyes, Mo Ziyang naturally let her pick whatever she wanted. After all, she had been stuck at home for days, and now that she finally came out, he wanted to make her happy. Otherwise, if she became disobedient in the future, it wouldn’t be good. (Though when exactly she would be “disobedient” was hard to say.)
As they walked, Mo Ziyang was still thinking when suddenly Lin Muxi tugged at his arm. Her soft voice sounded in his ear, and when he came back to his senses, he saw that she was staring at a food stall.
“Mo Ziyang, I want to eat that one!”
Following her slim finger, Mo Ziyang saw a stall that sold curry omelet rice.
Curry rice, huh?
He raised his eyebrows slightly. To be honest, curry wasn’t really something he liked. But since it was what his little wife wanted, it didn’t matter. Seeing Lin Muxi’s happy smile, he couldn’t bear to let her down.
So, he pulled out a campus card from his pocket. It didn’t have a name or picture on it, but he handed it to Lin Muxi.
“Use this card to pay.”
This was a card he had gotten when he dealt with a certain bold student together with the school leaders. The balance wasn’t huge, but it was more than enough for meals.
But when Lin Muxi got the card, she looked confused.
“How do you have a campus card for Beijing University?”
She tilted her head, puzzled, while holding the card.
“Didn’t I already tell you? Something small like this can’t trouble your husband.” Mo Ziyang chuckled, pinching her chubby cheeks, telling her not to worry and to just go buy what she wanted.
Hearing that, Lin Muxi blushed slightly. This time, she didn’t argue back. With the sound of her anklet jingling softly, she shyly ran off to buy food.
But the next moment, as if she suddenly remembered something, she came running back and asked,
“Aren’t you eating? Should I buy one for you too?”
Seeing that she had returned just for this, Mo Ziyang’s heart warmed. He suddenly felt a strong urge to kiss that rosy, cute little face a few times.
But after all, this was still the cafeteria. Doing such a thing in front of so many people would not only be embarrassing, but if he really did it, the little girl would definitely blow up, at the very least.
Mo Ziyang waved his hand slightly.
“You go buy your food first, I’ll take a look around for something else to eat.”
“Oh, okay…”
Hearing that she didn’t need to worry about him, Lin Muxi happily ran off with the card to the food stall.
Mo Ziyang, on the other hand, continued to look around with interest. After all, this was also his first time in a university cafeteria, so he was a little curious about the food here. He found a place to sit, and before long, Lin Muxi came back holding a bowl of curry rice, her face full of joy.

“Come, sit here.”
With a sweet smile, Lin Muxi sat next to him. Because she was so happy, she even sneaked a quick kiss on his cheek when he wasn’t paying attention.

“Oh? Since when are you so bold?”
“What? I kissed my husband, so what? If you don’t like it, then I won’t kiss you anymore.”
After kissing him, Lin Muxi’s face turned red. But when she heard his teasing, her embarrassment quickly turned into anger.
Seeing her shy and angry little face, Mo Ziyang couldn’t help but laugh. For her to secretly kiss him in public like this, it showed how happy she was today.
The next second, he reached out, gently lifted her chin, and kissed her back in front of everyone.
“W-what are you doing?! So many people are watching!”
Blushing from ear to ear, Lin Muxi quickly pushed him away, looking at him in disbelief.
But Mo Ziyang didn’t panic at all. Instead, he had a proud smile on his face.
“What’s wrong with me kissing my wife? Isn’t that natural?”

Although ever since he became her good bro he had gotten a lot thicker-skinned, she still couldn’t help but be surprised when he said things like this.
Seeing her standing there stunned, Mo Ziyang opened his mouth, ready to repeat it.

“Stop! Don’t say it again!”
Flustered, Lin Muxi quickly covered his mouth with her small hands, her face full of shame and anger.
Saying it once was already bad enough, now he wants to say it twice? Does he really want me to dig a hole to hide in?
Watching Lin Muxi’s angry yet helpless expression, Mo Ziyang thought it was very amusing. But she was still his little wife, and he didn’t dare to tease her too much, afraid she would really get mad.
So when she finally let go after glaring at him, Mo Ziyang gently wrapped his arm around her waist and softly patted her head like a puffed-up kitten.
“Alright, alright, I was wrong. Let’s eat now.”
Hearing his slightly apologetic tone, Lin Muxi finally softened. With her face still red, she buried her head down and started eating without saying another word.
