“When you go back, I will find a way to help you fix your identity papers. By the time you come home for winter break, it should be done.”
It was the weekend at the high-speed rail station. Her mother held An Han’s hand tightly, speaking to her with worry.
“Remember to use the skincare I bought you. Take care of your skin and protect yourself from the sun. And also… don’t rush to find a boyfriend…”
“A girl must value her body. Even if you get a boyfriend, don’t let him trick you into doing anything.”

“We’re going to the waiting area now.”
Her mother held her little sister’s hand with a warm smile. She bent down gently. “Say goodbye to your sister.”

“My mom bought me so many clothes. They’re all piled up in the hotel room. When we get back, help me sort them out.”
“We also ate at a cake shop yesterday! The cream puff ice cream was sooo good~”
When they reached Su Peng’s car, An Han suddenly stopped walking.
“Hey, Su Peng!”
“What’s wrong?” Su Peng unlocked the car with his key and turned around. “Get in the car first if you want to talk.”
But An Han only lowered her head, tucking her hair nervously behind her ear.
Cars were everywhere, and she could hear footsteps and voices from far away. Behind her, a line of cars with their headlights on slowly made their way through the parking lot.
The lights in the garage were dim. With her back to the light, her lowered face was hard to see clearly.
Su Peng realized something and felt his heart tighten.
On Saturday, when she told him he didn’t need to pick her up, he already guessed this might happen.
Her future mother-in-law was really hard to deal with… maybe this was the result An Han expected too.
“Um… my mom said I shouldn’t get too close to you.” An Han spoke in a heavy tone. “She said I just became a girl not long ago, so it’s easy for men to trick me.”
“I understand. Auntie isn’t wrong.”
Su Peng tried his best to stay calm. He smiled and opened the trunk of the car.
“Let me take you back first.”
But his heart felt like it was being squeezed. He had only truly liked An Han for about two months.
They weren’t even an official couple, just an ambiguous relationship. But at this moment, he felt dizzy, like he had suddenly lost the whole world.
An Han lifted her eyes a bit, studying his overly calm expression.

Looking up at him, An Han put her hands behind her back and stepped closer with a playful smile. Her small head leaned toward his shoulder.
They had nearly a twenty-centimeter height difference. When they stood straight, his chin was about at the top of her head.
She stood on tiptoe, leaned forward, and brought her lips close to his ear.
After waiting for a moment, sensing Su Peng getting more and more nervous, she finally said in a teasing, cheerful voice.
“You got tricked again~”

Su Peng felt like he was on a roller coaster.
He lowered his head a little. An Han’s face was so close he could feel the warmth of her skin on his nose.
Without even thinking, he leaned in and kissed her hard.
The moment his lips touched her cheek, An Han shrank away like a startled cat and quickly jumped into the car.

“You tricked me first!”

Su Peng slammed the door shut. “You’re in my hands now!”
Inside the car, An Han curled up her legs like a helpless, bullied little girl, her safety shorts visible under her short skirt.
“Ew~ pervert!”
Su Peng glared at her, furious. He had thought she was saying goodbye.
Then he thought she was confessing her feelings. In the end, it was just her teasing him.
If their relationship were a little deeper, it would never end with just a quick kiss!
