Chapter 216: Homework Tutoring
“So it really was Kexin and Lin Yi! Those two idiots!”
Standing behind the apartment entrance, An Han looked through the small glass window on the door and clearly saw the two girls hiding in the shadows.
“They probably followed us from the moment class ended!”
She stood with her hands on her hips, fuming, already imagining how she would deal with them tomorrow.
Su Peng stood beside her, looking helpless. “Do you want me to talk to them? It seems like they misunderstood something.”
Even though the two were far away, they could still see the heartbroken expressions on Lin Yi and An Kexin’s faces.
“Forget it. Explaining will only make it worse.”
Besides… it wasn’t totally a misunderstanding…
Looking at Lin Yi, An Han didn’t really care about being followed. After all, seeing her expression was pretty satisfying.
“It’s all because you said you wanted to find a girlfriend before. So those two started having ideas.” She complained, then suddenly changed her tone. “You must be pretty happy that so many girls like you, right?”
Su Peng didn’t know why this suddenly turned into a dangerous question. He quickly answered, “No. If I were happy about it, I would already have a girlfriend.”
“Let’s go, upstairs.”
“I’m just afraid they’ll talk nonsense in class later.” Su Peng followed her, unsure whether his answer pleased her or not.
“I don’t really care.”
There were already rumors in class saying the two of them were a couple anyway.
When they reached the rental apartment, An Han put down the textbooks she used that afternoon, then turned and went into the next room.
Su Peng hadn’t lived in his room for two weeks. There wasn’t much trash, just a thin layer of dust.
As soon as she walked in, An Han saw Su Peng awkwardly sweeping the floor with a broom. Being very used to this kind of situation, she went straight to the bathroom and took out the mop and bucket.
“You said it yourself, I help you clean, and you have to tutor me afterward!”
“No problem.”
“Then move! Don’t get in the way! You’re so clumsy!”
Su Peng was better than An Han at almost everything, but definitely not when it came to housework.
Normally, whether it was studying, sports, or anything else, she was always crushed by Su Peng. But this time, this was something she was good at, and she didn’t want to be outdone again.
She sprinkled some water on the floor and quickly bent down, mopping the room with skillful movements. All Su Peng could do was sit on the bed and watch.
He had to admit, An Han’s butt was really nicely shaped. Small and round.
When she cleaned, she even gave off a gentle, homey feeling. Normally she was loud, careless, and nowhere near this calm.
“If you keep staring, I’m not cleaning anymore.”
An Han lifted her head, frowning slightly. She could clearly feel the heat of his gaze, as if a warm feather was brushing across her hips.
“I’ll play on my phone then.”
Su Peng quickly lowered his head, not understanding how she could be this sensitive.
“Go wipe the table with a cloth! You’re really planning to do nothing?”
“Okay.”
The moment she opened her mouth, that gentle aura completely disappeared.
It only took about half an hour for An Han to clean the small room until it was spotless.
She finally straightened her back, stretching her arms lazily. The curve from her waist to her hips immediately caught Su Peng’s eyes again.
Definitely a pervert!
She cursed in her heart, unsure whether she felt angry or embarrassed.
“Let’s go. It’s time for you to teach me.”
“I only spaced out once in class, and after that I couldn’t understand anything anymore. Now I know almost nothing in this subject.”
Complaining, An Han returned to her own room, pulled out the textbook, and sat at her desk. She looked up and warned him:
“If I fail the final exam, it’s all your fault, got it?”
Su Peng pulled over a chair and sat down. “Tell me which part you don’t understand.”
“Most of it.”
“……”
In terms of studying, Su Peng was one of the top students in the class. Even though college exams were rare, he always ranked in the top three.
But when it came to tutoring, maybe because he had no experience, his explanations always left An Han confused, staring at the textbook with a blank expression.
“Can you say that again…”
Su Peng was patient, repeating softly and clearly.
An Han rested her cheek on one hand, frustrated, staring at the headache-inducing textbook. But her eyes couldn’t help glancing at Su Peng.
They were very close. She could see his tanned skin, clear collarbone, and chiseled jawline up close…
The tip of her nose caught his unique scent, subtle with a faint hint of tobacco, intoxicating.
He must have been secretly smoking these past two days!
An Han didn’t normally mind men smoking, but her tolerance for Su Peng had definitely dropped.
“You said you don’t smoke.”
The sudden question made Su Peng pause. He turned to her, puzzled. “I thought we were solving problems. Why are we talking about smoking?”
Seeing the slight irritation on her face, he quickly explained. “I ran into some old friends over the weekend. They offered me a cigarette. I didn’t want to refuse, and they all knew I could smoke.”
“Next time just say your mom doesn’t let you smoke.”
“My mom smokes too…” Su Peng muttered, then quickly nodded, “Then I’ll just say my girlfriend won’t let me.”
“……”
“Okay, let’s continue with the problem… this one…”
An Han tried to focus on the problem, but in less than two minutes, her gaze drifted to Su Peng again.
His jaw had a thin layer of stubble, lips were thin, nose straight…
The muscles on his forearms were visible, fingers long, nails neatly trimmed…
“You’re daydreaming again.”
“No!” She jolted upright.
“What was I just saying?”
An Han stammered, scratching her head, realizing that although Su Peng was smart, he wasn’t really suited for tutoring her.
Just having him sit next to her made her lose focus, whether in class or now.
So she awkwardly smiled. “Go ahead. I promise I’ll focus this time!”
Su Peng sighed helplessly. “What is it that makes you so distracted?”
“Nothing.”
“Then why is your face red?”
“Is it?”
Only then did An Han realize her cheeks were burning. She quickly lowered her head to avoid his gaze. But out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Su Peng’s pants were… very obviously pressed forward.
An Han froze. Su Peng panicked and tried to hide it with his textbook. Even the calm expression he had a moment ago was now flushed with heat.
“Focus on the problem! Focus on the problem!”
“Okay…”
But her mind couldn’t stop forming inappropriate images.
An Han felt her body heat rising. Even in the cool ten-degree weather, she felt flushed, her cheeks pink, skin glistening with a fine layer of sweat.
Her legs tightened involuntarily…
“I’m going to the bathroom.” She suddenly stood up and hurried out.
Su Peng froze, frustrated, scratching the back of his head.
Great. She must be scared.
Why is my body so uncontrollable! My brain is trying to focus on tutoring her, but my body… just reacts on its own.
