Chapter 261: A New Task
After quickly finishing dinner, An Han rushed back to her bedroom on the third floor and locked the door. Only then did she feel a bit relieved.
She decided she would not leave her room no matter what!
Maybe by tomorrow her parents’ anger would calm down.
Lying flat on her bed, An Han stared at the ceiling. While waiting for her parents’ “punishment,” she also thought about Su Peng’s confession.

After hesitating, she opened the door just a crack and peeked out. Seeing only her sister, she let out a breath and opened the door.
“It’s only seven. You’re probably here to play games.”
“Sister, why do you lock your door all the time? Feeling guilty?”

“Sister! Did you go out with that handsome guy?” her sister asked nonstop, holding onto her clothes. “Are you going to have a baby now?!”
An Han’s breathing became unsteady. Her face turned red as she glared at her sister sharply.
Avoiding her sister’s eyes, she tried to calm herself and walked straight to the computer. “What game do you want to play?”
She planned to use games to shut her sister’s big, annoying mouth.
If that didn’t work, she might sew it shut!
“Sister, hurry and have a baby so I can play with it!”
An Han couldn’t take it anymore. She slapped the back of her sister’s head. “What nonsense are you saying?!”
Her sister pouted with watery eyes, holding her head with both hands, suddenly going quiet.
“What game? The shooting one from last time?”

So An Han opened a browser version of CF, pushed the mouse toward her sister, and went back to lie on the bed.
Kids these days know too much, but only half understand. They don’t know what things should or shouldn’t be said.
An Han had a chat group where the 12–13-year-old kids always begged to see “adult pictures.” But when she was that age, all she thought about was playing games.
Feeling somewhat comforted, her anger toward her sister faded a bit.
“Sister, when are you going to have a baby?”
Her anger instantly exploded again!
“In ten years!”
She shouted angrily, then flipped her blanket over herself, hiding inside it.
If she slept early, she wouldn’t get angry at her sister anymore, and maybe her parents wouldn’t drag her out of bed to scold her.

But after only about ten minutes, An Han really started snoring.

“If Mom and Dad find out he’s going abroad in a few months, they’ll definitely disagree even more.”
Su Peng going abroad didn’t matter much to An Han. After all, with modern technology, they could communicate through texts and video calls even from far away.
As for herself… even being with Su Peng sometimes still gave her a strange “gay” feeling. Being with other men was even more impossible.

Yawning, An Han wrapped herself in a cotton jacket.

She glanced at the trench coat in her closet but didn’t plan to act mature in front of her parents.

After staying silent for a long time, An Han glanced at the countdown and decided to go eat breakfast first.
She sent the previously edited message to Su Peng, then tapped the vibrating chat window, and tapped the video call pop-up too.
If Su Peng felt confident, if he believed he could win her parents’ favor, then both Task One and Task Two could be considered.
