Peiya felt speechless and started to doubt Maya’s ability to do her job.
How could she give the wrong form like that?
If she hadn’t checked carefully and handed it to Elise, that would have been really embarrassing.

She had promised to let Elise make clothes for her.

If Elise designed something for her, it would probably look really good too.
Of course, she wasn’t looking forward to wearing girls’ clothes or anything. She was just going to “objectively evaluate” them a little.

After about half an hour, the carriage stopped in front of a huge estate.
From far away, a maid noticed Peiya and walked over warmly.
“Miss Peiya, are you here to see the young lady again today?”
“Yes. Where is she now?”
“She’s in the back garden, having flower tea. Would you like to join her?”
“Flower tea? What’s that?”
Peiya looked confused. She had never heard of it before. She guessed it was something like afternoon tea.
“It’s a light meal made with flowers as the theme. Would you like to come?”
“Hasn’t Elise eaten yet? Maybe I should come later?”
“It’s fine. There’s plenty of food. Maybe if Miss sees you, she’ll be even more willing to eat. Recently, her appetite has improved a lot.”
The maid looked at Peiya like she was a savior.
Ever since Miss Peiya started coming to the estate, their young lady had been eating much better than before.

“It’s a good thing to be able to eat well. You’ve all worked hard during this time.”
Peiya was truly happy that Elise could eat properly now.
When you’re sad, eating something sweet can really make you feel better. It’s like all your worries melt away with that sweetness.
Being able to eat is a blessing!
“You’re too polite, Miss Peiya. No wonder Miss was even talking about you in her sleep last night~”
“S-she mentioned my name?”

“Then please follow me.”
Peiya followed the maid into the back garden of the estate. The sound of flowing water became clearer, and when she looked up, she saw a large fountain spraying water nearby.
“Does she keep it running all the time? I feel like it was on the whole time when I came last time too.”
“Yes, Miss has never stopped the fountain. She probably really likes it.”

The maid gave her a sincere smile. By now, they had almost reached their destination, a very elegant garden.
The lawn at the entrance was neatly trimmed, and even the plants around it were carefully maintained. The whole scene was more beautiful than Peiya expected.
When she looked back, she realized they had walked quite far.
This estate was really huge.
If someone got lost inside, they might not find their way out for a long time.
At that moment, the maid’s gentle voice sounded beside her.
“We’ve arrived, Miss Peiya.”
“Really?”
Peiya looked up.
Not far away, under a white and gold umbrella decorated with lace, Elise was sitting on a white chair, holding a white porcelain cup.
At the same time, Elise noticed the voices nearby. She put down her cup and looked toward the garden entrance. When she saw Peiya, a faint trace of joy appeared on her face.
“Peiya, you’re here. I still have some tea and snacks, come join me.”
