Chapter 15: Are You Jealous That I’m a Beautiful Girl?
Su Moyu lowered her hand and couldn’t help but complain.
“Now that I’ve gotten shorter, I finally feel how tall you are.”
Bai Shuchuan looked at her face. Sunlight fell from above her head, outlining the shape of her cheeks. Her eyes looked deep and clear, and under the light, her lips had a soft, candy-like shine.

He just quietly looked at her, while Su Moyu took out her phone from her coat pocket.
“Alright, let’s call a car to the airport,” she said as she opened a ride-hailing app.
Another gust of wind blew by. Her hair was blown across her face, breaking her view into pieces. Su Moyu brushed the hair away in annoyance and finally chose the destination.

She complained in her mind. Her legs suddenly felt a bit sore, so she just sat down on her suitcase.
“Bai Shuchuan, don’t you think everything that happened since yesterday feels kind of unreal?” Su Moyu said.
“Yeah,” Bai Shuchuan replied.

Her voice sounded a bit lazy as she stretched. Soon, the car arrived.
Bai Shuchuan watched her get off the suitcase and get into the car.
He naturally put the luggage into the trunk. When he got into the car, he heard Su Moyu say softly,
“Just now on the street, a lot of guys were secretly looking at me.”
Her tone sounded a bit proud, and honestly, she did feel that way.
Being stared at didn’t feel that great, but if she saw a girl like that on the street, she would probably sneak a glance too.

After that, Bai Shuchuan stayed quiet. Su Moyu got bored and started replying to Zhou Ya’s messages.

“On the way to the airport,” Su Moyu replied.
“When you get on the plane, remember to take some photos of the clouds for me!”
A gentle smile appeared on her face, soft and slightly affectionate.

Su Moyu stayed calm, but that nickname “Xiao Yu” reminded her of when they were deeply in love before, she used to call her that too…

“Alright.” Bai Shuchuan sat down in the waiting area. Su Moyu took the boarding pass from his hand and looked at it.

“Yeah,” Bai Shuchuan replied. “Did you remember it this time?”
Su Moyu blinked, then shook her head. “Nope. I was watching short videos the whole time.”
“Then you still won’t know next time.”
“Why? I’ve got you, don’t I?” Su Moyu said softly, showing a meaningful smile. “Traveling alone feels unsafe, so that’s why I asked you to come.”
Bai Shuchuan pointed at himself, confused. “Being with me makes it better?”
Su Moyu nodded. “Yeah. At least I have someone with me. And you seem to know everything. I’ve always been bad with directions.”
Bai Shuchuan gave a bitter smile. “So I’m just a tool, huh?”
“Yep,” Su Moyu answered.
“You’re already in your twenties and still need to call someone to travel with you. Can’t you be a bit more independent?”
Su Moyu crossed her arms. Hearing that, she did feel a little embarrassed.
“I just won’t be independent,” she said shamelessly. “Anyway, I don’t travel much. If you don’t come, I just won’t go. Simple as that.”
“Why do you feel unsafe traveling alone?” Bai Shuchuan asked, confused.
Su Moyu blinked and thought for a moment before answering:
“I don’t really know. Maybe it’s because when I was little, my mom took me to a big city hospital. I had never seen such a big place before, and I got separated from her. Back then my throat was hoarse, so I couldn’t even call out. I wandered around the hospital for over an hour before staff found me.”
She continued, “Since then, I’ve been a bit scared of going out alone. Especially now that I’m like this.”
After saying that, she looked back at Bai Shuchuan.

“It’s kind of pathetic, isn’t it?” she said quietly.
“For a guy, yeah,” Bai Shuchuan replied.
Su Moyu smiled, feeling relieved. “Whatever. I’m not a guy anymore anyway. Go ahead and laugh if you want.”
Bai Shuchuan looked at her for a moment, thinking, then said,
“I suddenly feel a bit jealous of you.”
“Huh? Jealous of what? Me turning into a girl?”
