Chapter 17: I’m Going All In!
What happened next was just as Bai Shuchuan expected. Su Moyu, who had only eaten one bun in the morning, quickly got hungry.
“I should’ve brought something to eat before getting on the plane,” Su Moyu sighed, glancing at Bai Shuchuan beside her.
“It’s fine. They’ll give out food later.”
Su Moyu’s eyes lit up immediately. “Really? What kind of food?”
“Not sure. Probably a meal box and some fruit,” Bai Shuchuan replied. “It’s different on every flight. Some also have drinks.”
When Su Moyu got her meal box, Bai Shuchuan watched as she tore open the foil lid and started eating happily.
During landing, Su Moyu suddenly felt a sharp pain in her ears. She reached out and touched Bai Shuchuan. Noticing something was wrong, he took out a piece of gum from his pocket and handed it to her.
“Chew this, it’ll help,” he said.
Su Moyu took the gum and started chewing while holding back the pain.
Bai Shuchuan watched her lips move as she chewed, then suddenly realized something and quickly looked away.
“Is it better now?” he asked.
“Yeah, it doesn’t hurt anymore,” Su Moyu replied. “That’s amazing.”
Bai Shuchuan nodded. “Yeah, it is.”

When the plane landed, Su Moyu felt dizzy.
Half-conscious, she followed Bai Shuchuan through all the arrival procedures, then got into a taxi.
The city didn’t have a subway, and their hotel was quite far from the airport. For Su Moyu, it felt like torture.
Bai Shuchuan checked the messages in their dorm group chat and saw that Li Bowen had tagged him.
“Strange… has our dorm always had only three people? Today it suddenly feels so empty.”
“I feel the same, but yeah, there have always been three of us.”
Bai Shuchuan felt confused for a moment. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something move. He looked up and saw Su Moyu leaning back against the seat, her head slowly tilting toward the window.
Thump.
Su Moyu gasped in pain, then held her head with both hands.
Bai Shuchuan frowned. That must have hurt.
Still half-asleep, Su Moyu rubbed the back of her head, then looked at Bai Shuchuan with sleepy eyes, and leaned straight onto his shoulder.
Bai Shuchuan looked at her face. Seeing how her cheek was slightly squished against his shoulder, a faint smile appeared in his eyes.
After some time, Su Moyu felt someone pat her head. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that Bai Shuchuan had already opened the car door. She sat up and followed him out of the car.
“We’re already here…” Su Moyu yawned lazily, her voice soft and sleepy, which made Bai Shuchuan feel a strange tingling in his scalp.
She got out of the car while Bai Shuchuan carried the luggage. Su Moyu followed him to check in at the hotel.
She walked unsteadily, but a sudden cold wind blew over her, finally waking her up a little.
She looked around at the hotel’s decoration. When she saw the pretty female staff at the front desk, she immediately decided that this was definitely a high-end place.
To be honest, a hotel with a hot spring was something someone as inexperienced as Su Moyu couldn’t even imagine before.
She handed over her ID card and casually glanced at the photo on it.
Yeah… at least it looked much better than when she was a guy.
She thought to herself.
“Here is your room card. Please keep it safe,” the staff member said. Su Moyu took the card.
“You’re going the wrong way. Our room is this way,” Bai Shuchuan reminded her gently when he saw her happily walking in the opposite direction.
Su Moyu felt a bit embarrassed, quickly turned around, and walked back with small steps before heading the right way.
“It’s here~” she said, swiping the card and pushing the door open. When she saw the room, she froze in place.
Not far from the entrance was a huge double bed. On the other side of the bed were several sofas and a table, plus a 75-inch TV, and a wardrobe in the corner…
“So big,” Bai Shuchuan said, placing the suitcase in the corner.
“This is more than just big… it’s like sixty or seventy square meters…” Su Moyu said in a daze. “And that’s not even counting the bathroom and the balcony…”
For some reason, her heart ached a little. This kind of hotel cost thousands, and even though she didn’t pay for it herself, it still felt painful.
The hot spring pool was on the balcony. The balcony alone looked bigger than her bathroom at home.
Outside, there were layers of trees. The large room was extremely quiet, so quiet that she could even hear her own breathing.
“Pretty nice,” Bai Shuchuan said as he closed the door. “If you want to use the hot spring, go ahead. We’re only staying one night.”
“Huh?” Su Moyu sounded confused.
“We only booked one night. Tomorrow we go back to the city,” Bai Shuchuan said while boiling some water. “It’s probably too expensive for us to stay longer.”
Hearing that, Su Moyu felt it made sense.
“Alright.” She stretched, then quickly opened her suitcase and took out some clothes.
For some reason, Bai Shuchuan’s eyes landed on the swimsuit she was holding, and he quickly turned away and walked into the bathroom.
“Wow, this bathroom is so clean, it’s like a school cafeteria,” Su Moyu exclaimed again.
Bai Shuchuan casually plugged in his phone and sat on the sofa, lazily watching TV.
Su Moyu took a deep breath. She was wrapped in a long bath towel, and underneath she was wearing that pink swimsuit…
This is really, really embarrassing…
The cool feeling on her legs and the slightly rough texture of the towel brushing against her skin made her feel uneasy.
Even though Bai Shuchuan probably wouldn’t say anything…
She reached out and opened the bathroom door. Her face quickly turned red, even though she actually felt a bit cold.
The next moment, Bai Shuchuan glanced at her. She swallowed nervously and carefully looked at him.
Bai Shuchuan frowned. “Why are you reacting like that? I’m not going to do anything to you.”
Su Moyu’s face turned even redder. She suddenly felt a bit insulted.
Looking down on me, huh?
Now she was really annoyed.
She took a deep breath, as if she had made up her mind to charge forward into battle…
Bai Shuchuan watched her walk over with small steps, his expression turning confused, until she came right in front of him and suddenly sat down on his lap.
