Chapter 20: Did You Fall for Me?
For a moment, Su Moyu really didn’t know how to face him.
This was one of the effects of turning into a girl. She kept feeling like something was… off.
Maybe Bai Shuchuan also didn’t know how to deal with her like this. She had a vague feeling that his attitude had become a bit strange.
Just as Su Moyu was thinking, the phone on the seat cushion suddenly rang. She poked Bai Shuchuan next to her.
“Go help me get my phone.”
Bai Shuchuan frowned. “Why don’t you get it yourself?”
Su Moyu smiled. “Because it’s a bit cold.”
“Get it yourself,” Bai Shuchuan replied, leaning back against the edge of the pool like her. “I’m cold too.”
Su Moyu looked unhappy, but soon thought of a good idea.
She cleared her throat and put on a pitiful expression. “Big brother Shuchuan, can you help me get my phone, please~”
Bai Shuchuan looked disgusted. “Can you talk normally?”
“Big brother~” Su Moyu said again. Even she got goosebumps hearing her own soft voice.
She felt a bit sick with herself.
Bai Shuchuan looked like he was suffering, but finally gave in. He stood up from the hot spring, walked to the cushion, and handed her the phone.
Su Moyu saw that it was her father calling.
She ended up receiving a long series of caring questions from her father. It felt quite strange, was this really the difference in how he treated a daughter versus a son? Before, he barely cared about her, but now that she was a girl, he suddenly became attentive.
Men really are this biased, she thought to herself. Of course, that included herself too.
After soaking in the hot spring long enough, Su Moyu took off her swimsuit, washed it, and dried it, doing all of that in the bathroom.
When Bai Shuchuan saw her change back into her clothes, he still couldn’t help imagining how she looked in the swimsuit.
After getting ready, Su Moyu walked up to him.
“Let’s go eat. Let’s try the buffet here~”
“Okay,” Bai Shuchuan replied.
Su Moyu ran out first, and Bai Shuchuan followed behind, closing the door.
As expected, the buffet at such an expensive hotel did not disappoint.
There was everything, things that fly in the sky, run on land, and swim in the water.
Bai Shuchuan watched as Su Moyu stuffed a big piece of meat into her mouth, her cheeks puffed up, her soft pink lips shining with oil. It naturally drew his attention.
Now he really started to feel troubled.
It seemed like he had already started seeing Su Moyu as a girl.
He was even having physical reactions...

Bai Shuchuan looked at her face. Her eyes were curved in a smile, her cheeks full, looking just like a little goldfish. Her satisfied expression made those strange thoughts rise in his mind again.
He had the urge to mess with her a bit, like when you see a very cute cat and just want to pet it.
But this person was clearly a guy.

Bai Shuchuan tried hard to imagine the girl in front of him as the old Su Moyu…
His heart stayed calm.

Su Moyu lowered her head and took a bite of her steak. “It’s not embarrassing to look at me, you know. After all, I do look pretty good right now.”
Bai Shuchuan smiled helplessly but didn’t reply.
He felt that maybe it was just because he hadn’t been in a relationship for a long time, and now that Su Moyu was a girl, it created this kind of illusion.
Just like she said, she only had some charm right now.
Bai Shuchuan wasn’t very good at dealing with romantic feelings. The current relationship where they could talk about anything felt just right. If there were too many feelings beyond friendship, it might only make things awkward.
While he was thinking this, he noticed her pretty face showing a confused expression.
“What’s wrong?” Su Moyu asked softly.
His eyes fell on the corner of her lips, where a bit of pepper was stuck, and he spoke without thinking.
“Nothing, it’s just…” Bai Shuchuan hesitated for a moment, then copied her tone. “I was just admiring you.”
Su Moyu frowned a little, but she couldn’t hide her smile. “That sounds really funny when you say it.”
“Does it…” Bai Shuchuan said awkwardly.
Su Moyu peeled a shrimp and put it in her mouth. The way she ate was straightforward and carefree, not gentle like her appearance.
“Yeah. Maybe it’s because I already have a fixed image of you,” she said while chewing. “Honestly, you should read more romance novels or psychology books. With your looks, you could easily do really well in relationships.”
Bai Shuchuan calmly took a sip of his drink, not really understanding what the point of “doing well in relationships” was.
“No need for that. It’s enough to meet one person and stay with them for a long time,” he replied.
Su Moyu blinked, then smiled. “So you’re that loyal, huh~”
“Do you think I’m a casual person?”
She shook her head. “But with your looks, you definitely have the advantage. If you take a little initiative, you could easily meet a pretty girl.”
“You should worry about yourself first,” Bai Shuchuan said helplessly. “Your gender has changed now. That kind of thing will be even harder to deal with.”
Su Moyu calmly took another sip of soda, Bai Shuchuan wouldn’t let her drink alcohol.
“Then I just won’t get married. I’m still young anyway. I’ll figure something out later. Just go with the flow~”
“You’re really carefree,” Bai Shuchuan said.
“Anyway, I definitely won’t date a man,” Su Moyu muttered.
“If you need anything, just come to me,” Bai Shuchuan said.
He meant that if she had trouble living alone, she could ask him for help.
But Su Moyu looked confused. “You… like me?”
