Chapter 30: Meaningless Fun
The two of them stayed on the viewing platform until the sun fully rose. By then, Su Moyu had completely lost her excitement, and sleepiness came over her all at once.
“Let’s go back quickly~” She rubbed her eyes and yawned right after speaking. “I want to go back and sleep a bit more.”
Bai Shuchuan really felt like laughing.
She had forced herself to wake up early, climbed the mountain just to watch the sunrise, and now she wanted to go back to sleep.
Su Moyu walked down the steps unsteadily, yawning again and again.
“We slept the same amount, so why don’t you feel sleepy at all?” she asked, rubbing her eyes, looking very tired.
Seeing her cold, red cheeks, Bai Shuchuan said helplessly, “I don’t know why you’re so sleepy either.”
Su Moyu crossed her arms and rubbed them, then looked at him with an innocent face.
“Bai Shuchuan, can you carry me down again?” she asked.
Bai Shuchuan didn’t fall for it.
“I only ate one cup of instant noodles this morning, and I already carried you up the mountain for so long. I’m really tired, okay?” he complained.
Seeing her plan fail, Su Moyu’s expression quickly became disappointed.
“Fine, fine,” she muttered, then turned and continued down the path.
Bai Shuchuan followed behind her. She kept her head down, as if counting her steps.
But her steps were so unsteady, like she was drunk. Bai Shuchuan was really worried she might slip and roll down the stairs.
Her vision was going blurry from sleepiness. The next moment, she felt a hand on her shoulder.
“Forget it, I’ll carry you,” Bai Shuchuan said.
A happy smile immediately appeared on her face.
“Bai Shuchuan, you’re so nice,” she praised.
He walked in front of her and crouched down.
The weight on his back returned, and once again, the soft feeling made his heart stir. Her gentle breathing near his ear disturbed his thoughts again.
“Are you cold?” he asked.
Su Moyu shook her head. Her hair moved softly as she hung on his back like a little sloth. The ends of her hair brushed against his neck, making it feel itchy.
“Maybe just my back feels a bit cold,” she said, then suddenly showed a mischievous smile. “Hehe, you’re secretly enjoying this, aren’t you?”
Bai Shuchuan frowned. “Enjoying what?”
Su Moyu snorted. What was he pretending for?
“Hey, we’re buddies,” she said, wanting to tease him more. She leaned closer against him. “Like this, for example.”
“It is soft, so what? Do you want me to praise you for that?” Bai Shuchuan replied calmly.
His calm answer immediately killed her mood.
Instead, she felt a bit embarrassed.
“Not really. I’m making you do the hard work, so I’m giving you a small bonus,” she said.
Then she suddenly thought, this guy was probably still very inexperienced. That’s right, he couldn’t even say sweet words properly. There was no way he had any experience.
“You haven’t really touched a girl’s body before, right?”
“That’s true,” Bai Shuchuan answered honestly.
“You admitted that so easily.”
“It’s nothing to be ashamed of. If you haven’t met someone you like, then of course you wouldn’t have much contact like that.”
Bai Shuchuan’s calm and detached attitude surprised Su Moyu.
At this point, she completely lost interest in teasing him.
Sometimes it was fun to tease someone slow like him, but once he became serious, it stopped being interesting.
Su Moyu let out another lazy yawn. Bai Shuchuan then felt something lean against his shoulder.
The way down the mountain was very quiet. He felt like Su Moyu had already fallen asleep on his back.
By the time Bai Shuchuan carried her back to the hotel, it was already 8 a.m.
He gently shook his body. Su Moyu made a soft sound, then slowly climbed down from his back. Bai Shuchuan looked at her face. Her eyes were closed, her eyelashes were long and thick, slightly curved upward.
Seeing how sleepy she looked, he suddenly wanted to tease her.
“Su Moyu, it’s time to catch the plane.”
“Huh?” She suddenly woke up. “Catch the plane?”
Bai Shuchuan couldn’t help laughing at her panicked reaction.
Su Moyu thought carefully for a moment and realized they had just come back from the mountain.
“Bai Shuchuan, how dare you scare me!” She hit his shoulder lightly to show her anger. “I’m going back to sleep.”
Bai Shuchuan watched her take off her shoes and fall onto the bed, feeling a bit helpless.
She was the one who insisted on waking up early to watch the sunrise.
He let out a soft sigh, closed the door, and took off his jacket. Even though Su Moyu wasn’t heavy, carrying her all the way still made him very tired.
He walked to the bed and saw her lying there like a little caterpillar, her clothes slightly messy. This made him suddenly think of scenes from some romance movies he had seen before.
He shook his head. If she kept doing things like this without realizing, he felt like he might get into trouble one day.
The next moment, the person lying on the bed turned over because she couldn’t breathe comfortably.

At 1 p.m., Bai Shuchuan woke Su Moyu up again. After getting some sleep, she immediately felt refreshed.
Check-out time was at 2 p.m. Su Moyu felt a bit regretful that she didn’t get to enjoy the hot spring one more time.
“Another half hour wouldn’t really matter,” Bai Shuchuan said.
“Forget it, I still have to change clothes. Too troublesome,” Su Moyu said as she scratched her messy hair. “Let’s go~”
Bai Shuchuan picked up the suitcase and followed her out.
Their flight was at night, so they had a long time to wait. Su Moyu honestly didn’t expect that before.
“How are we going to pass the time?” Bai Shuchuan asked after booking a ride on his phone.
“We can just play games at the airport, or sleep. If not, we can find a book to read and relax,” Su Moyu answered casually.
Bai Shuchuan nodded. Asking her what to do when bored was always a safe choice.
“For the remaining days, let’s go back to your hometown…” Su Moyu paused a bit before bringing up this heavy topic.
“Okay,” Bai Shuchuan replied softly. “I’ll go back and spend some time with my dad.”
“Mm.” Su Moyu responded, secretly glancing at him, her eyes full of concern.
