Chapter 31: I Am the Clown
Su Moyu sat down on a chair. When they arrived at the airport, it was only around 2 PM.
Unfortunately, there were no entertainment places near the airport, but she was not so bored that she would just sit there and scroll short videos.
“Let’s play a game,” Su Moyu said as she opened the game and suggested it to Bai Shuchuan beside her.
“Okay,” Bai Shuchuan replied.
When Su Moyu saw her rank, she couldn’t help but complain in her heart. The “girl version” of her was really bad at games, why was the rank so low?

Suddenly, the character Bai Shuchuan was controlling got killed by a strong enemy who jumped out from the bushes. He snapped back to his senses and then heard Su Moyu complain.
“Can you stop feeding? Even if I’m carrying the game, it’s still tiring, okay?”
Bai Shuchuan let out a small laugh. From her tone, she was definitely getting overconfident.
When Su Moyu didn’t play well, she would usually become quiet and focus seriously. But in Bai Shuchuan’s imagination, he pictured her puffing her cheeks in frustration.
“Hey, wait, I’ll invite Shang Hanyu too.”
When Su Moyu, who was in a good mood, saw the message Zhou Ya sent, it felt like a bucket of cold water was poured over her.
A wave of annoyance rose in her heart, but what could she say? She was just Zhou Ya’s good friend.
What made it worse was that Shang Hanyu was an even better player than her. Naturally, he took all the spotlight, and Zhou Ya’s praise shifted entirely to her boyfriend.
After finishing one match, Su Moyu couldn’t take it anymore.
So she was the clown all along!

Bai Shuchuan exited the game and saw Su Moyu sitting there with her arms crossed, looking in a very bad mood.
“Let’s sleep,” Su Moyu said, leaning back in the chair and closing her eyes to rest.
Bai Shuchuan wanted to say something to comfort her, but she suddenly leaned her head on his shoulder.
He had no choice but to stay still. Then Su Moyu sat up again and lay sideways across his legs.
She really wasn’t being polite at all.
Bai Shuchuan didn’t have anything to do either, so he leaned back and rested with his eyes closed.
Of course, he still kept an eye on their luggage.
Su Moyu felt sleepy, but the airport was too noisy, so she couldn’t fall asleep. From time to time, there were flight announcements, which made her even more annoyed.
“Maybe we should find something to do,” Su Moyu suddenly sat up and looked at Bai Shuchuan, who was leaning back with his head tilted up. He didn’t move at all.
One of his hands was still resting on the suitcase.
So boring… Bai Shuchuan had fallen asleep too.
Su Moyu stood up and walked to a nearby convenience store. Suddenly, she felt like buying a cup of instant noodles.
Once she decided, she acted right away. She walked into the store, but when she reached the cashier and saw the price, ten yuan, she froze on the spot.
But there was no way to back out now. She could only force herself to pay. Luckily, she stopped herself from buying one for Bai Shuchuan too.
After paying, she felt like her heart was bleeding.
But since she had already bought it, there was no point feeling sad about the money.
That was just how carefree she was.
Finally, she found a water dispenser in a corner of the airport and made herself a hot cup of instant noodles worth ten yuan.

Bai Shuchuan was woken up by an announcement. Then he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket.
He took it out and saw the contact name: “Little Darling Su.”
He suddenly got goosebumps. The “him” from this world really had some… strange tastes.
Still, he answered the call, a bit confused about why Su Moyu was calling him.
“Hello, Bai Shuchuan.”
“What is it?” Bai Shuchuan looked around. “Where did you go?”
“I got hungry, so I bought a cup of instant noodles…”

“Just look up at the signs. Don’t they show different sections?”
“Which section are we in again…”
After a moment of silence, Bai Shuchuan had no choice but to take the suitcase and walk around the airport. Finally, he found Su Moyu near a water dispenser, happily eating her noodles.
When Su Moyu saw him, she quickly threw the empty noodle cup into the trash can.
“Hehe, let’s go,” she said with an awkward smile. “I’m done eating. Let’s go back and keep waiting.”
Bai Shuchuan was truly speechless.
“The instant noodles here must be expensive. If I knew, I would have bought some on the way,” she said helplessly.
Even though Su Moyu had felt a bit heartbroken about the price earlier, she suddenly acted generous now.
“Oh, it’s just five yuan more. Let’s just say I treated you to one too.”
Bai Shuchuan was almost moved to tears.
