Chapter 35: Bro, You Smell Nice
Su Moyu slowly came back to her senses and realized she had already been pulled into his arms. Her mind froze for a moment. Instinctively, she wanted to push him away, but the warmth from the close contact made her raised hand lose its strength.
She didn’t actually dislike this feeling.
But when Bai Shuchuan held her like this, she felt a strange uneasiness. It was like when she secretly took money from home as a child to buy snacks. She might feel happy, but deep down, there was still guilt.

In the end, Su Moyu still pushed herself out of his arms. Bai Shuchuan looked at her, his eyes avoiding hers. She stood up. The way he hugged her just now was too rough, her knee even got bumped a little.
“Bai Shuchuan, I think you’re really like a stubborn child,” she said softly.
He lowered his head even more.
But then Su Moyu reached out, held his shoulders, and gently pushed him. Bai Shuchuan straightened up, and then suddenly felt a soft weight on his legs.
He froze for a moment. His eyes moved over her slim waist. The faint scent of gardenia from her body drifted into his nose. Then he felt her arms wrap around his neck. He instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist.
“Why were you so rough? It’s not like I wouldn’t let you hug me,” Su Moyu said. Her voice was clear and pleasant, with a slight tone of complaint.
His arms tightened unconsciously. When Su Moyu saw him bury his face into her chest, her cheeks immediately turned red.

But then she suddenly felt a warm touch on her head. His fingers gently brushed through her hair.
“No. It’s quite cute,” Bai Shuchuan said softly, his voice full of tiredness.
Su Moyu’s face turned completely red. She looked at him in disbelief, but he had already turned around, picked up a towel, and walked out to take a shower.
That strange, fluttering feeling in her heart made her feel a bit dazed, and her heartbeat sped up again.

Su Moyu walked to the bed in frustration and sat down.
