Chapter 42: That Evil Thing
“Ah, summer, the sea!”
At an airport in a coastal city, a cute-looking girl spread her arms wide, her face full of excitement.
People passing by glanced at her from time to time, smiling a little, thinking she just had a childlike personality.
But before the girl could say anything else, a hand suddenly tapped her on the head.
“Why are you shouting like that?”
The man behind her was pulling a suitcase, looking both amused and helpless.
Mu Le slapped away the hand on her head and snorted, “I’m just expressing my feelings. Honestly, I’ve never been to the beach before at my age. Of course I’m a little excited.”

Since there were so many people, Xiao Yuze took Mu Le’s hand directly to prevent her from getting lost, and led her toward the exit.
Mu Le didn’t pull away, letting him hold her hand.
The temperature in the coastal city was clearly higher. Even though both of them were dressed lightly, they still started to sweat after going outside.
And just as Xiao Yuze said, after being so active all morning, it was natural to feel tired. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had booked, Mu Le lazily threw herself onto the soft bed and rubbed against it happily.
Xiao Yuze originally wanted to say something, but seeing the tired look on her face, he just turned on the air conditioner.

The hotel they booked faced the sea, so when Mu Le pulled open the light blue curtains, she could see the golden beach through the large window.

Mu Le’s eyes didn’t stay on the couples on the beach. Instead, her gaze moved farther away, finally landing on the deep blue sea.
Under the orange sunlight, the distant sea looked like strings of agate, shining beautifully as the waves rolled one after another.
Mu Le leaned against the window, staring at the beautiful view with wide eyes.
Her father had talked about taking her on trips before, but she usually refused. It felt troublesome, and more importantly, she thought it would be boring.
Also, Mu Cheng was very busy with work, and his holidays were short, so the time he could really spend traveling with her was very limited.
As time passed, Mu Le spent most of her past holidays at home, playing games and writing novels. It was still quite fulfilling.

Looking at the small toy, Mu Le blinked curiously, then pressed the switch at the bottom.

The small thing vibrated so strongly that it almost slipped out of her fingers, and her face instantly turned bright red.
She had seen things like this in pictures on her phone before, but this was her first time seeing the real thing.

“Want to try it?”
“Go to hell!”
Her answer was a kick straight at him.
