Of course, asking for a tip was just a joke. Mu Le only looked a bit angry, but in fact, she didn’t really mind.
After casually arguing with Xiao Yuze for a bit, she lost the mood to continue writing. She got up, put on her slippers, and went to find some snacks.
Xiao Yuze glanced at her, then continued reading the novel on his phone.
Mu Le’s writing skills were naturally quite good. At least, it was easy and enjoyable to read smoothly.
Even though Xiao Yuze wasn’t very interested in novels, and this was his first time reading a transformation story, he still found it quite interesting.
Maybe it was because he liked her, or because there was a real example right beside him, the author herself. Either way, he read it with interest.
As for Mu Le, after getting over her initial awkward feeling, she completely stopped thinking about it.
After all, novels are meant to be read by others. Since Xiao Yuze was enjoying it, she naturally felt happy too.
She took some snacks from the fridge and returned to the soft sofa.
Leaning against the teddy bear, she pulled the laptop back, but didn’t start writing again.
After Xiao Yuze had just seen her writing that kind of scene, she really couldn’t bring herself to continue.
So instead, she opened a webpage and searched for some new anime to watch, eating snacks while passing the time.
To avoid disturbing him, she even put on headphones.
Neither of them spoke. One focused on watching shows, the other on reading novels.
With the way Mu Le and Xiao Yuze got along, even sitting quietly all day wouldn’t feel awkward. Now that both of them had something to do, time seemed to pass even faster.
Of course, compared to Mu Le, Xiao Yuze only read for a while.
After all, Mu Le had been writing for years. The total word count was huge, impossible to finish quickly, even for him.

Just at that moment, Mu Le had finished her snacks and stood up, seemingly about to get more.

“Not bad.”

Mu Le didn’t know why he looked so happy, but hearing praise made her lift her chin proudly. “Hmph, of course.”
“It feels like you’ve experienced it yourself.”

She had been about to brag more, but hearing that, the corner of her mouth twitched.
When she met Xiao Yuze’s half-smiling expression, she snorted and didn’t reply.
Seeing that she was about to get more snacks, Xiao Yuze checked the time and stood up.
He reached out and lightly tapped her head. “Don’t keep eating snacks. It’s almost lunchtime, I’ll cook something for you.”
“I want meat!” Mu Le immediately said before he even finished speaking.
“You eat meat every day, but I still don’t see you growing at all.”
Noticing where Xiao Yuze’s gaze briefly landed, Mu Le quickly covered her chest and glared at him. “Hey! Where are you looking?!”
“Don’t react like that right away. I didn’t say your figure is bad.”
“Who’s feeling guilty? I used to be a grown man, okay? Do you think I would care about something like that?! Who cares, small chest is a rare resource!”
Xiao Yuze: “……”
To be fair, Mu Le wasn’t actually flat.
Her figure was the kind that looked light and slim. When she wore clothes, she didn’t seem to have much shape.
But Xiao Yuze, who had personally felt it before, knew that the phrase “looks slim in clothes, but actually has curves” fit her quite well.
Her body wasn’t overly full, but also not too thin, it was just right.
Not too much, not too little, perfect to hold in his arms.
And something many people would envy was that, even though she ate a lot every day, she hadn’t really changed much since the beginning.
Her height and measurements stayed almost the same. The only obvious change was that her hair had grown longer.
As his thoughts went deeper, Xiao Yuze’s gaze became more and more bold.
Being stared at like that made Mu Le uncomfortable. Feeling embarrassed and annoyed, she grabbed the stuffed bear behind her and threw it at him.
Of course, such a childish action couldn’t hurt Xiao Yuze at all. But feeling that it was enough teasing for now, he didn’t continue.
He picked up the bear from the floor and tossed it back to her, then smiled helplessly. “Alright, alright. One day it’ll grow.”
“Shut up, you pervert!”
Seeing that she was about to throw the bear again, Xiao Yuze could only shake his head.
“Okay, I’ll go cook for you.”
After saying that, without waiting for her reply, he walked toward the kitchen.
Watching his back, Mu Le snorted again.
Recently, she wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but Xiao Yuze seemed to be getting thicker-skinned day by day.
At least before, he would never tease her so directly.

Looking at him busy in the kitchen, Mu Le touched her chin, thinking.

After letting her thoughts run wild for a while, Mu Le finally realized how strange her thinking had become.
She patted her slightly warm face and tried to focus on something else.
But somehow, those thoughts just wouldn’t go away.
Even the anime she had been enjoying before now felt a bit boring…
After a moment of silence, Mu Le couldn’t help but feel… maybe she was becoming a bit strange too.
Otherwise, why would she even be curious about things like that?
