“An Han, do you know that girl from just now?”
After the two of them walked through the school gate, Long Xing suddenly reacted.
He looked at An Han excitedly, his eyes shining.
He was the last single person in the dorm, and his first love had hurt him so badly he doubted himself. Now he had met another girl he liked at first sight, and he didn’t want to miss the chance.
“I don’t know her.”
“But I saw you smile at her just now?”
Long Xing instinctively moved closer, and she quickly stepped back two steps. She shook her head like a rattle drum and said firmly again, “I really don’t know her!”
“Ah…”
Seeing Long Xing’s eyes suddenly turn dim, An Han felt a little guilty. After all, he had been hurt because of her before.
“It’s okay. She must live somewhere nearby. I’ll see her again sooner or later.”

Angrily, Long Xing asked, “What’s wrong with me? Why wouldn’t she like me?”

But Long Xing did once fall in love with her at first sight. If she didn’t explain, wouldn’t that mean she agreed he liked her only for her looks?
They had been roommates for years. They would keep going to class together.
“You make something I like sound so dirty.”
Long Xing argued back, clearly guilty, but then suddenly took a deep breath and declared loudly.
“Unless she already has someone, I’ll definitely try to chase her! I have to try before I know the result!”
An Han nodded lifelessly.
She felt like things were heading in a dangerous direction.

Long Xing was definitely triggered! It was all Chen Junjie’s and Wang Sheng’s fault. They kept posting couple photos on social media. After a whole winter break of that, no wonder Long Xing became this extreme!
The task was simple, just quietly watch what happens next. It would probably complete itself once things reached a result. An Han didn’t need to do anything.
The only thing to worry about was the body attribute.
Long Xing still seemed annoyed by what she had said earlier. As they walked upstairs, he stayed silent and deep in thought until they reached the dorm door. Only then did he react and unlock the door.
No one had entered the room for a month, and a damp, moldy smell came out. The roommates had cleaned before leaving, so there was no trash, but a thin layer of dust had gathered on the floor and tables.
“You guys actually remembered to clean before leaving.”
“Wang Sheng forced us. He wouldn’t let us go otherwise.”
Long Xing casually took last semester’s towel, wiped a chair, and sat down.
Wang Sheng had a slight obsession with cleanliness. It had almost been cured because his roommates bullied him about it, but once An Han left, it somehow came back.
Coming back to the dorm after a long time still felt familiar.
An Han looked around and noticed that Chen Junjie had moved back to the bed under Long Xing’s, while her old top bunk was completely empty with only the wooden board left.
“Where’s my bamboo mat and mattress?”
“Junjie helped put them in your closet.”
“He must be up to no good…” she muttered, opening the large wardrobe. Sure enough, her mattress was inside. “Didn’t he make a fuss about wanting to sleep on the top bunk? Why did he change back?”
Long Xing looked at her back and laughed.
“He said it was hard to go to the bathroom at night from the top bunk. After two days he moved back down.”
“I think he just left a place for you, waiting for you to come back?”
An Han instinctively argued, “Waiting for me to come back so he can laugh at me for looking girly?”
Inside the big wooden wardrobe were still some of her men’s clothes, neatly folded on the lower shelves.
“Wang Sheng organized the closet. He said it was too messy and uncomfortable to look at, so he just cleaned it up. He was scared you’d scold him for touching your stuff.”
She complained, “Has Wang Sheng’s condition evolved into full-on OCD?”
If Wang Sheng were a girl, he would definitely be a perfect wife with maxed-out housekeeping skills. Even An Han’s own mom didn’t bother organizing her closet like this.
She took out a bag and shoved all her men’s clothes inside, planning to take them when she left.
Then An Han took her old towel, wet it a little on the balcony, and used it as a rag to wipe the tables and chairs in the room.
“Brother Long, help me!”
“It’s just a little dust.”
Long Xing was still thinking about how to meet that girl again and had no mind for anything else.
