In the evening, An Han followed behind her parents and held her little sister’s hand as they walked into an old apartment complex near the school.
This neighborhood… looked really familiar.
“We rented a two-bedroom apartment for you here. Your dad will pay the rent to the landlord every month, you don’t need to worry,” her mother explained.
An Han nodded as she listened.
“The rent here is quite cheap, and the decoration is pretty good. The only problem is that the building is old and there’s no elevator.”
“No elevator?” She looked up at the seven-story building and suddenly remembered last year.

Inside the stairwell, An Han confirmed that this building was not the same one as Ren Chi’s, and she finally relaxed.
When her mother opened the door with the key, An Han rushed inside excitedly.
The interior was much nicer than she expected. The furniture was complete, TV, air conditioner, washing machine, everything. The space wasn’t large and felt a bit tight for a two-bedroom apartment, but it was definitely more than enough for one person.

“The previous owners moved abroad, so the place is empty now. “Okay,” her father said, but he was looking thoughtfully at the second bedroom, wondering if he should remove the bed inside.
Originally, if Su Peng came over, he could just sleep in the second bedroom. If he removed the bed, wouldn’t that idiot boy try to make his daughter share a bed with him instead?
