Chapter 293: The Single Dog
Long Xing could drink a lot. Whenever he joined a dinner, the table would always be filled with beer and white liquor.
Before this, he also went drinking with friends from the fitness club every weekend, but every time he returned to the dorm, he came back drunk.
This time, he carried two whole boxes of beer into the private room.
He glanced at Chen Junjie and his girlfriend playing on the same phone, then at Wang Sheng and his girlfriend discussing a game, and finally at An Han and Su Peng who were playfully flirting with each other.
He almost couldn’t breathe, his eyes were about to turn red.
“It’s rare that we all meet. Tonight, we don’t go home unless we’re drunk!”
Long Xing slapped a whole box of beer onto the table.
“Everyone, drink a little at least! If you don’t drink, you’re disrespecting me!”
He loved drinking, but he had never said something like this before. This surprised An Han, but when she saw Long Xing’s jealous and twisted expression, she roughly understood his intention.
He was heartbroken in love and planned to win back some dignity on the table!
“I can’t drink.” An Han spoke first. “I promised Su Peng that I won’t drink anymore!”
Just like how she wouldn’t let Su Peng smoke, Su Peng also didn’t want her drinking outside. Even though her drinking ability had always been strong, she still got drunk sometimes.
She used to drink only with close friends and roommates. But now that she had become a girl, those old friends had become “danger zones.” Many criminals liked to target women they already knew.
“You’re killing the mood today,” Long Xing grumbled sourly.
He thought the always-loud, always-drinking An Han would help him hype things up.
“It’s fine. I’ll drink her share.”
Su Peng stood up, took a bottle from the box, and tried to bite the cap open with his teeth, but after struggling for a long time, he only made his teeth hurt.

An Han snatched the bottle away, smacked the cap off on the table, and said, “Drink. But your alcohol tolerance is bad, so drink less.”

Long Xing watched the two of them and didn’t know what to say. He turned his head toward the others.
Chen Junjie was fine with drinking, and now he and Yingying were happily chatting with a glass in each hand.
Wang Sheng normally didn’t drink, but he didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of his girlfriend, so he was clumsily trying to open a bottle with an opener.
Long Xing noticed that all three couples were chatting sweetly with each other, and as the “big brother” of the dorm, he was once again forgotten.

“Brother Long, if you want to get us drunk just to watch us embarrass ourselves, don’t use excuses.” Chen Junjie laughed and clinked bottles with him. “Who are you calling a dog!”
He always saw through everything.
“You all got girlfriends behind my back!”
“I didn’t…” An Han looked innocent.
Long Xing ignored her and happily continued drinking with the other boys. Even though he was jealous of his roommates, he had no plan to drag the girls into it, even if Yingying seemed able to drink more than Chen Junjie, and even if An Han had drunk him under the table more than once.
After a few rounds of drinks, the atmosphere at the table became much livelier. Even Lin Qian, Wang Sheng’s quiet and shy girlfriend, slowly started talking more.
They complained about things that happened during winter break, complained about how full their schedule was this semester, and from time to time, they teased Long Xing for still being single.
“Hey! Brothers! I like a girl!”
With the help of alcohol, Long Xing pulled out a secretly taken photo of someone’s back.
“Help me find her. I just want her name and her WeChat. I’ll handle the rest myself.”
“Come on, all of you have girlfriends now. Helping your single brother a little isn’t too much to ask, right?”
An Han silently rolled her eyes. She knew Long Xing would bring this up at the party.
Luckily, it was only a picture of a person’s back. At most, Chen Junjie might notice it looked like a man. For now, no one had realized the figure was actually their counselor, Ren Chi.
“Why does it look like the counselor…”
Before Su Peng could finish, An Han quickly covered his mouth and glared at him fiercely.
At first, Su Peng thought he was just seeing things because he drank too much. But after seeing An Han’s reaction, he immediately understood that his guess was correct.
His eyes widened, a little confused, a little lost, and very excited.
So exciting?
Luckily, Su Peng’s quiet muttering wasn’t heard by the others. Otherwise, even a simple guess might stick in Long Xing’s mind.
An Han carefully looked at Long Xing. He was still arguing with Chen Junjie about whether the person in the photo was male or female.

The discussion slowly turned back into Long Xing forcing the boys to drink more. Soon, Su Peng couldn’t keep up anymore.
With alcohol hitting him, he drank slower and slower, but looked more and more excited. Originally he didn’t like alcohol at all, but now he ate a bite of food and drank a sip of beer, getting more energized with every drink.
“Su Peng, are you sure you’re okay? Your face looks as red as a monkey’s butt,” Long Xing teased. “Maybe stop drinking?”
“I can drink!”
With An Han sitting right next to him, Su Peng wanted to look strong in front of the girl he liked. He straightened his back and shook his head stubbornly.
“I just turn red easily when I drink.”
An Han rested her chin on one hand and watched the drunken Su Peng.
Even when drunk, he wasn’t noisy. He still acted gentle and polite, just very red-faced and strangely determined to keep drinking.
She suddenly remembered last year’s National Day. Back then, she forced him to drink, and he got drunk. She didn’t think too much at the time, she just thought he didn’t know his own limits.
Now that she thought about it, he probably already liked her back then, and he was trying to act strong on purpose.
“Alright, stop drinking.” An Han pressed down his hand holding the glass. “If you drink any more, you won’t even be able to walk back to school.”
“Then I’ll go to your place?”
“In your dreams.” She rolled her eyes. “Brother Long and the others can take you back to the dorm.”
“And my parents already told me clearly, you’re not allowed to go to my house.”

Half an hour later, the three girls looked at their boyfriends, who were now lying on the table completely unconscious. They all raised their heads and looked at one another.
“Um… what do we do now?” Lin Qian clearly had never seen something like this before. “We can’t enter the boys’ dorm.”
Long Xing was the only one still somewhat awake, but even he was stumbling and could barely walk. It was impossible for him to escort all of them back to their dorms safely.
“Send them to a hotel. What else can we do? Brother Long, can you go back by yourself?”
Hearing An Han’s words, Long Xing suddenly realized tonight might be a night full of… fireworks for the others.
And he would have to go back to the dorm alone…
