Chapter 56: Don’t Dislike Me
“So cheesy,” Su Moyu said with a bit of disdain.
She felt his arm wrap around her waist again. This time, she didn’t resist and just quietly accepted it.
Before, she had imagined that if she agreed to be with Bai Shuchuan, they would live together like a married couple.
But in her imagination, it was more like two close friends living together.
After all, Bai Shuchuan always gave her the impression of being a bit slow and simple.
Even if there was anything physical between them, she thought it would just be something simple, just to release desire.
But she never expected that things between them would become so bold and intimate.
She even imagined what it would look like if she were still a guy having this kind of interaction with Bai Shuchuan.
Just thinking about it made her feel embarrassed.
The image was too much, she didn’t dare to continue imagining it.
It really only made sense because she was now a girl.

“Bai Shuchuan, it feels really strange when you call me that,” Su Moyu turned to look at him, but he had already pulled her into his arms.
“Really?” Bai Shuchuan asked, not understanding.
“I just can’t imagine you calling me that,” Su Moyu said honestly.
“I’m not that slow, am I?” Bai Shuchuan said helplessly.
“You are,” Su Moyu replied. “Hurry up and sleep. We have class early tomorrow.”
“Alright,” Bai Shuchuan answered.
“Good night,” Su Moyu said.
“Good night,” Bai Shuchuan replied.
As things became quiet, Su Moyu couldn’t help but complain a little.
“That’s it…?”
“Well, goodnight my baby,” Bai Shuchuan added.
She suddenly felt speechless.
As expected, it was impossible for him to stay clever all the time.
But she really wanted to hear it…
She hesitated inside, but still couldn’t say it out loud. Meanwhile, Bai Shuchuan took a deep breath, and his thoughts slowly faded as he fell asleep.

The next morning, when Su Moyu woke up, she felt like her whole body was falling apart, with no strength at all.
She opened her eyes and saw Bai Shuchuan’s face very close to hers.
She was stunned for a moment, then reached under her pillow to grab her phone. Nervously, she checked the time, 8:10 AM.
Her heart skipped a beat as she quickly checked her class schedule. Luckily, her second class started at 9:30, and she quietly let out a sigh of relief.
Good, good…
She looked up and saw Bai Shuchuan still half-asleep.
“What time is it?” he asked softly, rubbing his eyes.
“A little past eight,” Su Moyu replied. Her head felt heavy and painful.
She had drunk alcohol last night…
She thought to herself.
Even though she didn’t get drunk, her head still hurt.
After saying that, she lay back down again.
After waking up, she really didn’t know how to face Bai Shuchuan.
It felt like everything that happened last night was just a dream.
“Get up,” Bai Shuchuan said. “Let’s eat breakfast, then it’ll be about time to go to class.”
Su Moyu moved a little, and a slight pain came from her waist, making her take a sharp breath.
“What’s wrong?” Bai Shuchuan stopped what he was doing and looked at her with concern.
Su Moyu looked at the “culprit” in front of her and said quietly, “My waist hurts.”
Bai Shuchuan showed a bit of guilt and reached out, wanting to help her up.
“I don’t want to get up,” Su Moyu lowered her head.
“You’re not going to class?” he asked, confused.
Su Moyu lay on the bed and nodded. Hearing his tone, she suddenly had a small idea.
“I will… but I’m hungry,” she muttered softly.
The next sentence from Bai Shuchuan completely destroyed the improved image Su Moyu had just formed of him.
“Then get up and eat,” Bai Shuchuan said seriously.
Su Moyu was completely defeated.
Yes, yes, it was her fault. She shouldn’t have tried to hint at things with this guy.
“Help me bring breakfast,” Su Moyu said softly.
“What do you want to eat?” Bai Shuchuan asked as he put on his clothes. But Su Moyu’s eyes were uncontrollably drawn to his waist.
She swallowed unconsciously. “I want the soup dumplings from the shop downstairs.”
That was the favorite food of this version of Su Moyu.
She decided to trust the taste of her “other self” and see how good it really was.
“Okay,” Bai Shuchuan nodded, already putting on his jacket.
Su Moyu lay on the bed, her long hair spread across it, looking a bit messy. Bai Shuchuan looked at her face. Her delicate features were partly covered by strands of hair, giving her a relaxed and gentle beauty.
Su Moyu looked up at him and suddenly felt that the atmosphere between them wasn’t right.
Why did they still feel like just buddies?!
She was really about to lose it.
Seeing her sleepy face, or rather waking up and seeing a half-awake pretty girl in his arms, any normal person would kiss her, right??
But unfortunately, Bai Shuchuan didn’t. He seriously got up and prepared to wash up.
Su Moyu was getting really frustrated.
“Bai Shuchuan!” She quickly called out when she saw him turn away.
“What’s wrong?” He turned back to look at her. When their eyes met, he looked slightly hesitant.
“Come here,” Su Moyu said.
Bai Shuchuan obediently walked over and sat down in front of her. She held his face and asked softly, “Do you really not feel anything?”
Her gaze slowly dropped to his lips.
Even though she felt a bit embarrassed with their faces so close, she was sure he wouldn’t be able to resist this!
“What do you mean?” Bai Shuchuan asked, confused. He used his other hand to gently remove her hands from his face.
Now Su Moyu was really shy. After hesitating, she finally said, “Don’t you want to kiss me?”
Bai Shuchuan couldn’t help but laugh.
“But… I haven’t washed my face or brushed my teeth yet…”
Su Moyu was completely flustered.
She held his face again and kissed him firmly. Before he could react, she pulled away, wrapped herself in the blanket, and turned her back to him.
“Don’t dislike me,” she said, sounding a bit upset. Bai Shuchuan felt the warmth left on his lips and lightly bit his lower lip.
Hmm… it actually felt pretty nice.
“I don’t dislike you,” he said.
“You’re lying!”
Bai Shuchuan smiled helplessly. He wanted to say something funny to ease the mood, but he really wasn’t good at that.
“Then… let’s do it again,” he said, wanting to make up for it.
“Go wash your face and brush your teeth,” Su Moyu ordered.
Now Bai Shuchuan really didn’t understand.
He glanced at her red ears, thought for a moment, then turned and walked into the bathroom.
