Chapter 65: Don’t Talk, Just Kiss Me

Su Moyu looked at herself in the mirror. After calming down a bit, she realized she still cared a lot about this matter.

She had to make things clear with Bai Shuchuan.

She took a breath and walked up to him.

At this hour, there were still many students jogging around campus. Out of curiosity, Su Moyu checked her own running record and found she had only run ten kilometers…

Why was she so lazy as a girl?

She sighed to herself. At that moment, she felt a warm touch in her hand. She looked up and saw that Bai Shuchuan had taken her hand.

“Where are we going next?” he asked.

Su Moyu let out a soft breath and tightened her grip on his hand.

She decided to just say it, to tell him everything she was thinking.

No matter what, they were a couple now. All her thoughts were because of him, and she felt that keeping it inside wasn’t a good idea.

It was better to talk more. Thinking about it carefully, Bai Shuchuan probably wouldn’t judge her.

“To the field, I already told you earlier.”

She muttered softly, sounding a little unhappy.

“I forgot,” Bai Shuchuan replied, showing a slightly apologetic smile.

Su Moyu led him to a small path beside the field, but she soon felt a bit tired.

Next to them was a small grove. The light there was dim, but she could still see other couples like them, quietly spending time together.

She secretly glanced at Bai Shuchuan, but he didn’t react much. Only when he noticed her looking did he turn to her.

“What’s wrong?”

“I want a hug,” she said softly, her voice gentle and a little playful.

Bai Shuchuan wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her into his arms. Her body still felt very soft.

Their breathing mixed together in the dark. Su Moyu could smell his pleasant scent, but her thoughts became tangled again.

“Bai Shuchuan…” she called his name softly.

He held her a little tighter.

“Mm, go ahead,” he replied gently, sensing that she might be upset.

“Do you think I’m sometimes too sensitive?” she asked carefully, her tone full of hesitation.

“Sometimes, a little. But actually… it’s okay.”

Su Moyu understood what he meant.

He could accept it.

Maybe everyone has moments when they want to be a bit willful.

“Earlier I asked you what would happen if I changed back,” she said quietly. “I know you can’t really accept being in a relationship with a guy.”

“Our relationship now is more than just friends… I don’t think we need to make that kind of assumption,” Bai Shuchuan said helplessly, gently patting her head.

Su Moyu took a deep breath. The pleasant scent from him filled her nose. The feeling against her face, and the warmth of being held in his arms, made her feel very safe.

“I know… but do you know something? I still can’t stop thinking, did we get together just because of desire?”

She buried her face in Bai Shuchuan’s chest. “Could it be that the reason you chose me is just because I can satisfy your physical needs right now?”

“I…”

Bai Shuchuan hesitated.

“That might be part of the reason,” he said helplessly.

He didn’t want to say something untrue just to comfort her.

He could understand her feelings, because in his previous relationship, he had also felt the same kind of worry and insecurity.

“Maybe I just want a clear answer,” Su Moyu said softly. “I know you can’t accept being in a relationship with a boy, but I still hope you can choose me firmly.”

“But I… also don’t want to lie to you,” Bai Shuchuan replied. “Right now, you attract me. I think you’re very cute. Maybe it’s because you’re a girl…”

As he said this, he suddenly realized something.

“Really? I’m your ideal type?” she asked in disbelief.

“Yes,” he replied.

She puffed her cheeks, feeling her face burning.

“Then why don’t you seem to want to do anything with me?” she muttered softly.

“Because you were upset just now,” Bai Shuchuan replied.

Her heart skipped a beat.

“I’m not upset anymore,” she muttered.
