Chapter 74: What Is This Supposed to Do?
When Bai Shuchuan came out of the bathroom, he saw that Su Moyu was already sitting on the sofa, playing on her phone.
She was wearing a white robe, the kind that opens in the front. The thin fabric lightly showed the shape of her body. Her fair skin looked soft under the light, giving off a gentle glow, like the moon covered by a thin layer of mist.
The neckline was low, and her figure could be seen clearly.
Su Moyu felt almost like she wasn’t wearing clothes at all. The smooth fabric made her feel shy.
Even though she told herself to stay calm, when she saw Bai Shuchuan, her face still turned red.
Bai Shuchuan walked over. His eyes moved away from her slim waist and landed on her slightly wet hair resting on her shoulders. He reached out and touched it, and Su Moyu looked up at him.
“Your hair is still a bit wet. Want me to dry it for you?” he asked softly.
Su Moyu nodded obediently. She put down her phone, held his arm, and walked with him into the bedroom.
She took the hair dryer from the bathroom. Bai Shuchuan set up a small stool and sat by the bed.
A faint smile appeared in Su Moyu’s eyes. After handing him the hair dryer, she lifted her leg and sat facing him, right on his lap.
Bai Shuchuan paused. His eyes were once again drawn to her.
He looked up at her face, but she didn’t show much expression. She looked down at her phone, occasionally glancing at him with an innocent look.
“Hurry up and dry my hair,” she urged.
Bai Shuchuan felt like someone was teasing him.
The soft feeling against his legs and her faint scent made it hard to stay calm. After plugging in the dryer, he looked at her, so close to him, and his eyes drifted again.
He swallowed.
Through the thin fabric, he could vaguely see more than he should.
Her legs were wrapped around his waist, and the restless feeling in his body rose again. Yet she still looked calm, focused on her phone.
Bai Shuchuan lowered his head and gently kissed her lips. Su Moyu avoided it slightly and frowned.
“What are you doing? Just dry my hair properly,” she muttered, though she still gave him a light kiss.
For a young man full of energy, this kind of situation was hard to handle.
His body kept reacting, wave after wave. The feeling of her weight and closeness made everything more intense.
He knew she was doing it on purpose, wearing this kind of outfit to tease him.
Or rather… flirting.
This made things difficult for Bai Shuchuan. He wasn’t prepared for anything more, and in principle, he wouldn’t cross the line.
Maybe Su Moyu knew that, which was why she dared to tease him so openly.
He took a deep breath and turned on the hair dryer to help her dry her hair.
After the shower, the sticky feeling on his body was gone, leaving a sense of comfort.
Su Moyu leaned closer, wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her chin on his shoulder.
Neither of them spoke. Bai Shuchuan felt like he was gently petting a cat. His movements were soft as his fingers ran through her long hair. Her body pressed against his chest, making him feel a little restless.
Su Moyu quietly swallowed, keeping her body tense, trying not to move too much.
But based on her experience…
If a girl is sitting on your lap like this, who could stay calm?
Yet Bai Shuchuan was still focused on drying her hair.
Su Moyu suddenly felt a bit touched, her emotions becoming mixed.
She really was expecting something more to happen…
His warm chest made her body feel restless.
There was also a faint sense of embarrassment…
Did this kind of robe count as… special sleepwear?
Would Bai Shuchuan think something about her?
From his point of view, he would probably like seeing her dressed like this.
But actually sitting on his lap in such a thin robe still made her feel very shy…
Even though she was a girl now, not long ago they were still just close buddies.
The sound of the hair dryer hummed beside her ear. Between them was a quiet silence that was hard to describe, but it also felt like they both understood each other without words.
After a while, Su Moyu started to feel a bit tired, so she relaxed her body and leaned fully into Bai Shuchuan’s arms.
When she touched him like that, he paused for a moment, then slowly relaxed.
His body leaned closer too. After a careful moment of hesitation, he could feel her body gradually relaxing as well.
He gently ran his hand through her long hair, and with his other arm, he held her soft, slim waist. Even through the thin fabric, his fingers could still feel her smooth skin.
He placed the hair dryer on the bedside table.
“Su Moyu,” Bai Shuchuan called in a low voice. By now, her attention was no longer on her phone.
“What is it?” Her voice was soft and slightly sweet, a little unclear, making it sound even more teasing.
At this moment, Su Moyu was both nervous and expectant.
But she had to act calm.
Even though, in a way, she was also inexperienced, she didn’t want Bai Shuchuan to have the upper hand.
“Why are you calling my full name? It sounds so distant.” Her tone was gentle, full of a spoiled, playful feeling. “You can call me Susu.”
“Susu.” His low voice sounded again, making her shiver slightly.
“Mhm.” She purposely didn’t respond clearly.
“You’re very pretty.”
Her face was already turning red.
The sweet feeling in her heart, along with the rising warmth in her body, made her start to want more.
“I know that,” she said softly, though her voice trembled slightly from shyness.
Bai Shuchuan chuckled softly. He reached behind her, took the phone from her hand, and placed it aside, while still holding her in the same position.
“What are you doing?” Su Moyu grabbed his wrist. As she moved, she accidentally brushed against something, making Bai Shuchuan let out a low sound. He twisted his wrist slightly and freed himself from her grip.
“What do you think?”
