Su Yichang’s eyes would sometimes stop on An Han for a moment.
The girl seemed a bit shy, quiet, gentle, and elegant like the girl next door.

Her eyes lit up as she stared at the dish.

Only three dishes, but each one was extremely “big” and mouthwatering.

“How are you planning to celebrate your birthday? Should I book a hotel hall for you?”

Even though An Han was eating happily, she still listened to everything around her. Her big eyes would glance at Su Yichang from time to time, and then fall back on Su Peng.
They really do look quite similar. The only difference is that Su Yichang’s face shape is more square and serious, like a tough guy, while Su Peng’s face looks a bit softer.
When they walk outside together, people would believe it if someone said they were real brothers.
Su Peng and Su Yichang lowered their voices again and started whispering.
“How far have you two gone? You’re in university, don’t get into big trouble. Back then, I almost broke my legs.”
An Han only heard part of it. Her face quickly became hot. She clearly hadn’t done anything, but she still felt extremely guilty.

Hearing Su Yichang teasing, An Han’s face burned red again. She didn’t stay at the entrance a second longer, she quickly ran away.
What “controlled by your wife”? They were just a couple!
Only after she ran out of Su Peng’s sight did she slow down a little while breathing softly. She looked back while hiding behind a corner wall, peeking at Su Peng again. Only to meet his eyes directly.

The restaurant was about a twenty-minute walk from An Han’s rented place. Even though the area was safe, Su Peng was still worried she might get lost. He suddenly realized he probably should have ordered a ride-hailing car for her.
But An Han wasn’t stupid. When she realized the distance was too far, she rented a shared bike on the roadside, followed the map, thinking about her tasks, and slowly rode back to her building.
“Shared bikes are electric now? I didn’t even know that.”
She muttered to herself, but her mind was still full of thoughts about the task.
Since Su Peng’s cousin would join the birthday dinner, the three of them would likely eat outside at a restaurant or hotel. After that, Su Peng might be dragged out to play, so she might not be able to finish her task.
