Chapter 325: Su Peng’s Embarrassment

During class, Su Peng sat with a troubled look as he used his phone to search online for a reliable local men’s health clinic.

He kept thinking that maybe he was just too nervous the first time, and also shocked by An Han’s bold actions. Her small hand had been soft and warm, a feeling that was hard to forget…

But doing a check-up would not hurt. At least it would stop An Han from teasing him about it every day.

An Han kept stretching her neck, trying to peek at his phone. But Su Peng reacted quickly and flipped the screen face-down.

“Looking up hospitals, huh?” she asked.

“No.”

“Then why are you hiding your screen from me?” An Han playfully leaned closer. “Are you chatting with some girl?”

“That’s even more impossible.”

Su Peng shook his head seriously and looked toward the teacher. “Pay attention to class. Don’t whisper.”

“Tsk~”

An Han dropped her head onto the desk. She couldn’t stay quiet for even a few minutes before whispering again.

“So you’re really… you know… inexperienced?”

“Yes. Why would I lie about that?”

“Little virgin~ pfft!”

Su Peng’s eyebrow twitched. Her teasing tone almost made his blood pressure rise. He lowered his voice, holding back the urge to lecture her.

“You’re not?”

“When I was still living as a guy, I had lots of experience! I had several girlfriends at the same time!” An Han bragged with a straight face. “Otherwise, how could I be your ‘master’?”

“Right, right. A master helping her student solve… physical problems. Very normal.”

“How is that normal! Pervert!”

She became angry instantly. “Virgin!”

Su Peng looked up at the board calmly. “I’m just keeping myself clean and saving it for my future wife.”

“Yeah right. Sounds nice on the surface.”

Her teasing came more from her old way of thinking from when she was male. Back then, among young men, being a 20-something virgin was something people usually felt embarrassed to admit.

But despite her jokes, she actually felt happy inside.

No other woman had ever touched Su Peng. At least that meant she wouldn’t be losing anything if she ended up with him someday.

Today’s class was quite important. After a few lines of small talk, An Han finally focused on taking notes.

She had to admit, friends really could change a person. Back when she hung out with Long Xing and Junjie, she always read novels or played games during class.

But now that Su Peng, who had even won a scholarship, was sitting next to her, she felt a bit competitive.

Why could Su Peng get a scholarship? It wasn’t like she ever saw him studying hard!

He only seemed to listen carefully in class, and that was something she could also do.

But she managed to focus for not even ten minutes before her mind drifted back to the skill she received as a reward after completing last night’s task.

A “High-Level Skill”?

She tried spinning her pen, but it only went half a circle before flying out of her hand.

Still as clumsy as before.

She couldn’t understand what kind of “skill” it was supposed to enhance. Resting her cheek on one hand, she began imagining all kinds of possibilities in her mind.

Maybe the skill was related to the task? If she thought about it that way… the “skill” would be…

But after so many tasks, sometimes the rewards matched the tasks and sometimes they didn’t.

It was hard to say.

“Class dismissed.”

Before the bell finished ringing, the teacher announced the end of class and walked out with the lesson materials.

An Han stretched and yawned. She had helped Su Peng celebrate his birthday last night.

After taking a shower, Su Peng fell asleep immediately, but she tossed and turned for half the night and only slept much later.

No wonder she was tired and had no energy this morning.

“What are we eating for lunch?” An Han lazily packed her books and looked up at Su Peng. “Your cousin will treat us to a big meal, right?”

“I have something to do at noon. I also need to take leave for two classes this afternoon.”

“Huh?”

Since An Han stayed with Su Peng every day, she normally knew right away if he had anything going on.

She stared for two seconds, then couldn’t stop the corner of her mouth from lifting. She poked Su Peng’s side with her elbow and teased, “You’re really going to the hospital, huh?”

“What hospital? I’m just going for a check-up.”

“Still need to check. After all… it only lasted a few seconds.”

An Han couldn’t hold back her laughter. “I just touched you a little…”

While teasing Su Peng, her face also turned red. Thinking about what happened last night made her embarrassed too.

Su Peng glanced at her. He really couldn’t take her “I’m so proud of myself” tone, paired with her red, shy face. If only they weren’t in public…

“From now on, every night after dinner I’m going to train legs and glutes.” Su Peng said with a straight face. “If you want a late-night snack, tell me earlier and I’ll bring it to you.”

“Why train your butt?”

“Heh~”

He didn’t explain. He just thought about the future, when the time finally came, and how he would “win” the final battle and get his revenge for all the teasing.

An Han suddenly felt a chill. She sensed Su Peng’s smile wasn’t a good sign.

But she wasn’t an experienced gym member herself. Even though she joined the fitness club, she had barely gone. She didn’t really understand training, so she couldn’t figure out what he meant.

Just as they walked out of the teaching building, Su Yichang came over. He threw an arm around Su Peng’s shoulders and said happily, “I booked the best restaurant for you. Let’s go.”

“Not this noon. Tonight instead.” Su Peng shook his head. “I have something to do.”

“You’re eating at home tonight,” An Han suddenly added. “I bought a lot of ingredients and put them in the fridge.”

“Little sister-in-law can cook?” Su Yichang looked surprised and excited. “Then I’ll come over for dinner tonight, how about that?”

Being called “little sister-in-law” made An Han shy. She stepped back a little and muttered, “If it tastes bad, you’re not allowed to complain.”

“Don’t worry.” Then he looked at Su Peng again. “What’s so urgent? I drove here. Want me to send you?”

“I’ll just take a taxi. It’s kind of far.”

Su Peng had booked a major hospital in the city center. From school to the hospital by taxi, then grabbing a quick lunch, he would just make it in time for the afternoon appointment.

“Far is fine. I’m free anyway.”

Su Yichang enthusiastically pulled him toward a Mercedes parked by the road.

But Su Peng didn’t feel touched at all, he was terrified. “I’ll take a taxi myself! Really, you don’t need to!”

“It’s not trouble. Why would it be trouble? Where are you going?”

“I don't want to take up your time…”

“You know me, I drive fast, and I know the roads well.”

An Han watched the two of them tugging back and forth. She almost burst out laughing.

It was rare to see Su Peng this embarrassed.

Su Peng couldn’t refuse too firmly. Just as he was about to be shoved into the car, he finally gave up struggling. “I’m going to the hospital…”

“What kind of illness is so urgent?”

“….”

He opened his mouth but couldn’t say it. If he said the wrong thing and the relatives found out, they might laugh at him for the rest of his life.
