Chapter 10: Chen Chen's Feelings
Tian Siyi really liked her new little dress.
Even when she had been a guy, she had always had a girly side. Whenever she played games, she always chose female characters and dressed them up as cutely as possible.
Of course, back then she hadn't wanted to become a girl. She had simply thought that looking at a beautiful girl on the screen was much nicer than looking at a rough-looking guy.
Now that she could dress herself up, she didn't mind it at all. In fact, she was even a little excited.
So excited, in fact, that the next morning she was still asleep until Chen Hui pulled her blanket away.
"Wake up! The sun's already shining on your butt!"
Tian Siyi slowly opened her eyes. Still half asleep, she looked at the energetic Chen Hui, only to find that she seemed to have several overlapping images.
"Why can you make copies of yourself?"
"Copies? My foot!"
Chen Hui flicked her forehead, instantly waking the sleepy girl up.
"Ah—ow—"
Tian Siyi covered her forehead, and tears quickly gathered in the corners of her lowered eyes.
Seeing her like that, Chen Hui swallowed the harsh words she had been about to say. Looking at such a cute, pitiful girl, she felt she couldn't bring herself to scold her.
Her eyes moved over Tian Siyi's oversized white T-shirt. It was obviously one of her old men's shirts. It wasn't suitable for going outside anymore, but it worked well as pajamas. Below it, her long, fair legs were completely exposed.
Chen Hui's gaze stayed on those long white legs for a moment before she finally spoke.
"Alright, hurry up and get out of bed. Change your clothes and come eat breakfast."
Tian Siyi shot her an annoyed look.
"Then at least leave the room first!"
"Alright, alright. Why are you so shy?"
Tian Siyi watched Chen Hui leave and quickly added, "Close the door on your way out."
After sitting down, Chen Hui asked Chen Chen, "Has she been like this at home these past two days?"
Chen Chen looked at his older sister sitting at the dining table, not understanding what she meant.
"Like what?"
"Walking around with one shoulder showing, the top of her chest barely covered, and those long white legs right in front of your face."
As she spoke, Chen Hui even tugged at her own clothes to demonstrate.
Chen Chen gave a helpless smile and nodded.
"Pretty much. She's been walking around in light clothes in front of me every day. If she didn't spend most of her time hiding in her room playing games, I'd honestly be worried that I..."
He suddenly stopped talking. Chen Hui became impatient and finished the sentence for him.
"Worried that you wouldn't be able to control yourself?"
Chen Chen immediately shook his head.
"Not that. I won't say I have perfect self-control, but I'm definitely not the kind of person who'd do something illegal like that."
Chen Hui could tell that although her younger brother would never do anything inappropriate, he was still affected by having such a beautiful girl dressed so casually around him.
That actually made her feel relieved.
"To be honest, Mujiang Music Academy is full of handsome guys and pretty girls. But you've been there for two years and never brought a girlfriend home. I was honestly starting to worry about your taste in women. Now it seems everything's fine."
Chen Chen's mouth twitched.
"You really are my sister..."
People who knew him well might think he was a tall, handsome, and wealthy guy.
But he knew that wasn't how most people saw him.
His grades at school were only average. He barely managed to pass his classes, and his classmates didn't think he had much of a future.
He also worked part-time whenever he had free time.
His reason was simple. As a future manager, the most important skill was knowing how to deal with all kinds of people. Working different part-time jobs also helped him understand what students were like and gave him chances to discover talented people for his future work.
But to people who didn't know him, he just looked like a poor student working to pay for school. Since he never talked about his family, no one went out of their way to ask.
To most of his classmates, he was simply an ordinary guy who happened to be fairly good-looking.
While they were talking, Tian Siyi walked out of her room.
Both of them turned to look at her at the same time, making her feel a little embarrassed.
She looked down at herself and asked in confusion, "Is there something wrong? Do I look strange?"
She was only wearing a simple white dress. She thought it looked quite nice. After all, she was naturally beautiful now, so almost anything looked good on her.
She didn't know much about fashion, and besides, she didn't have many clothes to mix and match yet. Was there really something wrong?
The two of them both shook their heads and answered together, "You look beautiful."
After saying that, Chen Chen glanced at his sister before lowering his head again.
Remembering what his sister had just said about him reacting to Tian Siyi, he suddenly felt too embarrassed to even look at her.
Hearing their compliments, a gentle smile appeared on Tian Siyi's face.
Ever since becoming a girl, hearing people praise her appearance made her even happier than before.
Chen Hui noticed the way Tian Siyi was lightly standing on her tiptoes and the spring in her step, and couldn't help smiling.
"You've gotten used to your new identity pretty quickly."
"The situation can't be changed. What else can I do besides accept it?" Tian Siyi said with a shrug as she casually sat down on the other side of the table.
"As long as you don't hate it."
"Nobody hates a beautiful girl, right?"
Tian Siyi looked at Chen Chen, who still had his head lowered.
What were they talking about just now? Why is he acting so strangely?
When he didn't answer, she gently nudged his calf under the table with her foot.
Chen Chen already had his head lowered. As he glanced sideways, he saw a small, delicate bare foot lightly moving beside his leg, almost as if it were teasing him.
He instinctively leaned back a little before nodding firmly at Tian Siyi.
"Yeah, that's right!"
Chen Hui watched the two of them with great interest.
She was usually very busy with work. Although she came to visit them from time to time, she couldn't spend too much time looking after them.
Chen Chen had been in college for two years without dating anyone, and she had honestly been worried.
Now it seemed the problem wasn't that he wasn't interested in girls.
He was simply too shy.
That put her mind at ease. It would be good to let the two of them spend more time together so Chen Chen could become more relaxed.

"You two wait here for a while. I'll go say hello to the owner."
Chen Hui was friends with the owner of the hot spring resort. Since they were already here, it was only natural for her to stop and chat for a bit.
Tian Siyi casually found a seat.
It was her first time visiting a hot spring, so she looked around with curiosity written all over her face.
Then, by chance, she spotted a familiar figure.
She gently nudged Chen Chen with her elbow and leaned closer to whisper, "Hey, that's Zhou Jiajia."
Chen Chen followed her gaze and indeed saw someone he recognized.
The truth was, it wasn't that he had never wanted to date during the past two years.
Like many students who had finally gained freedom after the pressure of high school, he had tried pursuing a girl soon after entering college.
That girl had been Zhou Jiajia.
But after chasing her for half a year, he realized she had only been leading him on. She had been stringing along several other guys at the same time.
Because of Zhou Jiajia, Chen Chen became disappointed with the idea of romance and never actively pursued another girl after that.
Just then, Zhou Jiajia noticed them as well.
She smiled and walked toward them.
