Chapter 88: I’m Actually Very Innocent
Su Moyu took off her apron, then went to sit on the sofa and started scrolling through short videos on her phone.
When Bai Shuchuan walked into the kitchen, he saw that it was a complete mess. Seasonings were scattered everywhere, and even the cutting board still had shrimp shells on it.

The kitchen door opened. Bai Shuchuan took off his apron and hung it on a chair. Su Moyu sat up, and he walked straight toward her.

“Thanks for your hard work,” she said softly.
Bai Shuchuan shook his head. He sat down beside her. “It’s nothing.”
Su Moyu blinked and noticed he looked like he was thinking about something. She frowned slightly.
“What’s wrong?”
He hesitated for a moment, making her even more confused.
“Thank you… for making that plate of shrimp for me,” he said, suddenly feeling shy halfway through, his words coming out a bit awkwardly.
Su Moyu looked puzzled at first, then after thinking for a moment, she understood. A smile appeared on her face.
“Why are you being so polite all of a sudden?”
“Uh… I just wanted to thank you,” Bai Shuchuan said.
Looking at how obedient he sat there like a good kid, Su Moyu’s smile grew even brighter.
“You’re already this touched just because I made some shrimp. If I cook you a full feast one day, will you cry from being so moved?” she joked.
Of course, if she really wanted to make a full grand feast, she felt she still needed a lot more practice.
All the lines Bai Shuchuan had prepared were completely disrupted by Su Moyu.
“Well… not to that extent,” he said helplessly.
“Oh, you don’t need to be so formal,” Su Moyu replied. “You could just hold me, say thank you, and then give me a kiss. That would be nice too.”
