Chapter 94: Give Me a Kiss

Bai Shuchuan held Su Moyu like this until her emotions slowly calmed down.

As he held her waist, he strangely felt like he was taking care of a small pet.

“Does it still hurt?” he asked softly.

But as she lay in his arms, Su Moyu suddenly started to feel shy.

Even though she was now completely a beautiful girl, that small bit of pride from when she was a boy still made her feel a little embarrassed.

“It still hurts a little,” she replied quietly.

Saying that only made her feel even more embarrassed, and she couldn’t lift her head.

“Bai Shuchuan.”

“Mm,” he answered softly.

“I just feel a bit down, and my body doesn’t feel well… and then I fell for no reason.”

Bai Shuchuan laughed lightly.

“I know. It’s okay.”

Hearing his gentle voice made her feel warm inside.

She probably wouldn’t recover from this cold for at least a week…

Holding him, Su Moyu thought to herself.

But it’s not like they couldn’t… kiss for a whole week, right?

Not doing anything more for a week was fine, but…

As she felt his firm chest, her mind started to wander into slightly inappropriate thoughts again.

Just thinking a little made her cheeks heat up.

“Bai Shuchuan…” she called his name again.

Her voice was hoarse and full of a nasal tone. As soon as he heard it, he knew she was about to ask for something.

“Go ahead.”

She hesitated.

“I want a kiss,” she said softly.

Bai Shuchuan smiled helplessly.

“What if I catch your cold?”

Su Moyu didn’t answer. She just rested her head on his shoulder and gently rubbed against him.

He didn’t move.

So she rubbed against him again.

The soft feeling of her hair brushing against him made his heart soften.

There was no way he could resist this.

He gently pulled her away a little. Lying in his arms, Su Moyu looked shy.

“What if you get sick?” she asked, looking at him with her bright, innocent eyes.

He laughed. “Now you’re blaming me first?”

She didn’t answer. She just closed her eyes, as if leaving everything up to him.

At that moment, Bai Shuchuan felt that Su Moyu was naturally talented at being a girl.

It also answered a question he once had… Why, in this world, the version of himself chose to marry her instead of other girls.

Back in high school, he once read some romance novels from his female classmates. In most of them, the “new girl” would win over the childhood friend, and the childhood friend would just become a “bro.”

But someone like Su Moyu… no one could resist her.

Thinking that, Bai Shuchuan leaned down and kissed her lips.

As their lips touched, Su Moyu wrapped her arms around his neck and gently responded to the kiss.

After that little moment, she lay quietly on the bed to rest.

“What do you want to eat tonight?” Bai Shuchuan lay beside her, scrolling on his phone, then turned to look at her.

“I want noodles, something light,” she said, pulling the blanket tighter around herself.

“Do you still feel cold?” he asked, reaching out to touch her forehead, then taking out a thermometer from the drawer nearby.

Su Moyu sniffed. “I still feel like I have a fever.”

Bai Shuchuan handed her the thermometer. She looked at his face sleepily, but a mischievous idea suddenly came to her mind.

She raised her hand and pulled down her collar a little, signaling for him to put the thermometer inside.

Bai Shuchuan looked at her quietly. Su Moyu gave him an innocent look in return.

“Hm? What’s wrong?” she asked softly, her voice gentle and pure.

He immediately realized she was pretending to act cute.

But the bit of fair skin showing at her chest looked… very tempting.

For a moment, his mind even imagined her lying in his arms without clothes, blushing deeply…

Since she was being this proactive, there was no reason for him to refuse.

He placed the thermometer under her arm. Her skin felt warm, soft, and smooth.

His face was very close. His eyes drifted toward her collar, his expression calm, but his gaze clearly intense, making it obvious to Su Moyu that he was thinking about something not so innocent.

Even though it was only a brief touch, Su Moyu still got goosebumps all over.

Bai Shuchuan used his slender fingers to fix her collar back into place.

She blinked at him. Bai Shuchuan was always easily fooled by her appearance—she looked like such an innocent and cute girl.

But who knew what was actually going on in her mind? He felt like her thoughts were probably even more “dirty” than his.

Holding the thermometer in place, Su Moyu picked up her phone and leaned into his arms while watching short videos.

When she dated Zhou Ya before, she also liked to stay close during the “honeymoon phase.”

But thinking back, she still felt more comfortable in Bai Shuchuan’s arms. He was bigger, and it made her feel more safe.

Right now, she really felt like a girl deeply in love, getting emotional so easily.

Thinking about this made her suddenly feel embarrassed.

She scrolled to another video and came across an ad for a Lolita-style dress.

“Hey, Bai Shuchuan, do you think I would look good wearing this?” she said, poking his chest, acting just like a sweet little wife.

“You already look good,” he replied.

She frowned slightly. “Since when did you become so smart?”

He smiled helplessly. “I’m just telling the truth.”

A faint smile appeared on her face.

“Good answer. Give me a kiss.”

Bai Shuchuan fell silent.

What a… dangerous kind of reward.

“I don’t even have clothes like that,” she muttered. “It looks really pretty.”

“Then just buy one,” he said.

She shook her head. “It looks expensive. Better not.”

Her eyes drifted toward the closet nearby. “Besides, I already have so many clothes at home.”

“Okay,” he replied softly.

“Alright, I want to sleep,” she said, getting out of his arms. “Brother Shuchuan, go buy dinner. When I wake up, I can eat something hot.”

Bai Shuchuan stood up with some difficulty.

“My legs are numb.”

She snorted lightly. “That’s your honor. Now go boil some water for me too.”

“Got it~” he replied, limping out of the room.

Su Moyu lay back on the bed peacefully.

Ever since she became his girlfriend, his temper seemed to have improved a lot.

Men really do change easily.

Then again… so did she.
