Chapter 35: Mom Personally Gives the Lesson
The old couple were upstairs. Even though the bedroom door was tightly shut, it could not stop the sounds from leaking out.

After the talk ended, Qin Yi grabbed some sleepwear and pulled Cheng Fei away again.
“You’ve been running around all day. Go take a bath.”

“Do you have any clothes?”

“Well, nobody told you to come here. Solve your own problems.”
Just thinking about everything made Cheng Fei angry again. She simply lay on the bed and started playing with her phone, once more treating the person beside her like air.
The irritation in her words was obvious. Just a few sentences already left Gao Ming unable to respond properly.
Unfortunately, he had left in a hurry and brought no spare clothes. He only had what he was currently wearing. Buying new clothes and wearing them without washing them first felt uncomfortable, so what else could he do except continue wearing the same thing?
When Cheng Fei saw him stand up, she also slowly sat upright again. After glancing at him, she helplessly sighed.
Under Gao Ming’s gaze, she searched through cabinets and drawers. Surprisingly, she really found an old set of her previous pajamas.
“These used to be mine. Take them.”
Then she added,
“But don’t say I didn’t warn you. Our body shapes aren’t the same. If they feel uncomfortable after you put them on, don’t complain.”
Gao Ming took the clothes and glanced at them.

“Tell me, what’s the point of telling such a huge lie? Once one lie is told, countless more lies are needed to cover it up. Isn’t it exhausting to keep lying like this forever?”
“Not really.”
Seeing Gao Ming answer immediately with a shameless grin, Cheng Fei nearly passed out from frustration.
“I refuse to believe you don’t have someone you like. Why not just go chase them instead?!”

Gao Ming lowered his head and laughed bitterly at himself.
“What are you laughing at?”
Gao Ming walked directly over to Cheng Fei, picked up the phone she had tossed onto the bed, opened the camera, and switched it to selfie mode.
