“They finally left.”
Stretching his arms, Su Peng was the first to walk into An Han’s rental room. Smelling the light scent that belonged to her, he suddenly felt fresh and relaxed, as if his whole body became comfortable.
After being kicked out earlier and now returning, this tiny room felt especially warm and cozy.
An Han slowly took off her shoes and reminded him, “My dad installed a camera in the room.”
“No way?” Su Peng turned around in shock, only to see her lower her head with a smile like a little fox.
“I mean, your dad can’t be that weird…”
Su Peng let out a sigh of relief, then acted like he was back in his own home. He grabbed a bottle of cola, sat on the sofa in the classic lazy posture, turned on the TV, and took a big sip of cola. He felt relaxed from head to toe.
These past two days had almost suffocated him. He had been as careful as a sheep in front of An Han’s father. Now he could finally be himself again.
Only then did An Han finish taking off her shoes and step inside. She took off her jacket and yawned. “I’m hungry.”
“What do you want for delivery?” Su Peng asked out of habit, but suddenly remembered his financial situation and his face darkened.
It’s hard to go from luxury to saving money. Su Peng had been used to spending freely and almost never treated money like money. But now, remembering the rental car fee from just a few hours, his face grew even darker.
“We’re already poor and you still want delivery… But my dad gave me another 1,000 before he left~”
An Han noticed his dark expression and happily pulled ten red bills out of her pocket. She waved them proudly in front of him.
“I’m richer than you now! From now on you’d better be nice to me, if you have no money for food, I won’t help you!”
This was the first time she had more money than a rich second-generation like Su Peng.
Watching a rich boy struggle over money was honestly pretty funny. She remembered when she had tried to lower his affection for her by pretending she would take a loan to buy a phone, yet Su Peng had immediately transferred 15,000 yuan to her. But now? He was hesitating for half a day just to order delivery.
“Why don’t you just bow your head to your parents?” she teased.
“Never. I won’t do that in my whole life.”
Su Peng shook his head. He looked at his phone, and his eyes stopped on the rental-car app.
“Wait…”
He suddenly reacted, quickly opened the app, and clicked on “Refund deposit”… Refund will arrive within three business days.
“Let’s eat something good for lunch?”
Knowing money would come back soon, Su Peng immediately became generous. “What do you want? McDonald’s? KFC? Burger King?”
“You suddenly have money again?”
“I returned the shared-car deposit.”
Even though the money hadn’t arrived yet, Su Peng had already opened the delivery app and was browsing lunch options.
“Come here, see what you want to eat.”
“We don’t even have much money and you’re still ordering delivery…” An Han muttered as she sat beside him.
“We’ve been eating at the school cafeteria every meal this week. I’m tired of it. I want a different taste.”
She looked down at the arm that had moved around her waist and rolled her eyes at him.
“Talk properly. Why are you touching me?”
“How about barbecue?”
Her attention instantly shifted toward food. She leaned closer to look at his phone. “For barbecue, is it cooked when they bring it, or do we cook it ourselves?”
“Raw meat.”
“That’s so much trouble… We might as well go to the market to buy it ourselves.”
“It’s already marinated. Tastes good.”
Since Su Peng was paying, she had no objections. Besides, she was indeed craving barbecue.
After ordering lunch, the two of them stayed inside the room doing nothing, each playing on their phone or watching TV. But after only a few minutes, Su Peng’s thoughts started to wander. From time to time he glanced at An Han from the corner of his eye, clearly tempted.
His beautiful and charming girlfriend was right beside him, completely relaxed around him, and she had even said she would “make it up to him”, words that made his imagination run wild…
But her father had just left not long ago, and the pressure he left behind hadn’t faded yet. Su Peng still felt like her dad could appear from some corner at any moment, staring at him like a predator eyeing its prey. Suspicious, he looked around the room twice, remembering her earlier joke.
“Your dad didn’t really install cameras, right?”
An Han had already noticed his suspicious stare. She curled up her legs and casually answered, “Yeah, he installed several. I don’t even know where they are.”
“Seriously?”
Su Peng instantly felt uncomfortable all over. But when he saw An Han silently roll her eyes, he immediately understood he’d been fooled again.
If there really were cameras, with her personality, she would’ve made a huge fuss already.
“An Han…” He relaxed and scooted closer to her. “The delivery won’t arrive for at least half an hour.”
The moment he got closer, he smelled the faint scent of her body, a scent that matched him perfectly. The hormones hit him hard and made his body heat up fast. He had already been restless, and now his breathing grew heavier.
But An Han had already turned to lie on her side and lifted her foot to push against his waist, stopping him from getting any closer.
“Stay away from me. I need to listen to my dad,” she said with a straight face, her voice cold. She didn’t even bother to look at him.
Su Peng suddenly felt like she had gone back to how she was during the school sports day. Sometimes warm and close, sometimes cold and distant.
He froze, confused. He didn’t understand why she was acting like this. Ever since they officially became a couple, she had always been the one actively affectionate.
“My dad said you’re not allowed to touch me,” she said, like an iceberg refusing his approach. “Unless we get married. Otherwise, no.”
“…Did you get your period?”
“My period ended just a few days ago.”
“Then why…”
“My mood is bad today.”
“Oh.”
Considering her father just left for a long trip, it made sense she wasn’t feeling great.
Su Peng pushed down his restless thoughts and obediently put some distance between them. He let out a small sigh, already missing the softness of her little hand.
Many young men take care of their needs at least once a day, sometimes several times. And here he was, with a pretty girlfriend who always teased him on purpose, even twice in two days felt too little…
It was just that every time was a blow to his pride. Luckily, he was slowly getting used to it. His “threshold” had increased a bit, and he could resist her teasing better now.
While he sighed and reminisced, An Han secretly glanced at him.
Luckily, Su Peng still had some self-control.
She let out a quiet breath of relief. Her father leaving solved one trouble, but an even bigger problem was waiting for her.
Su Peng’s affection toward her had reached 109!
Last time his affection went over 100, she directly turned into a girl. She absolutely could not let another weird mission trigger again!
Before, she had been thinking of keeping their life the way it was so his affection wouldn’t rise too much. But now Su Peng had actually asked her to do that with her mouth!
If she really agreed, his affection would definitely skyrocket.
When Su Peng went to the bathroom, An Han muttered to herself, “I knew it… I still need to find a way to lower his affection. Keeping it right at the limit is too stressful…”
But she had never succeeded before…
“Fine… I guess I can’t lower it. Then I definitely can’t agree to any of Su Peng’s excessive requests.”
